Simple event that increase the player cap to x4 in each campaign so instead of 10vs10 it will be 40vs40 (if the game servers can handle it)

Personally looking forward to play Axis in Normandy and give all the players a big welcome with my machine guns on D-Day - Lets have a beach party!

40v40 can’t.
C’mon it’s squads.
It will be with 3-9*80=240-720 soldiers in battlefield.
And maybe with 0 fps for everybody.

But maybe 16v16.

servers cant handle 10v10

20v20 would be good tho

not enough playerbase… you would just get matched with more bots.

considering that now they can withstand 60-180 player/bots, it would not be bad to get 50v50 lone ranger, or 100v100. game would be much better, just problem is playerbase…

Problem not in this.
Just servers can’t carry more 16v16 (squads) and 35v35 (lone fighters).

I still waiting when Keo will post any info about developers “researchs” in player/bots limits.

There were bugs in custom matches with mods. We were able play in 50v50 maps. It was epic. Very.
But yeah… Sometimes laggy.

even if 50v50 were possible, there would not be enough players to populate it in reasonable time. so yes it is a problem

i am pretty disappointed in this… ffs 8-10 years ago i have played M&B:NW with ~150 players with no lags. planetside also made it work for 100+ player battle in one base. and nowadays you cant get 50v50 without lags? they either need to upgrade servers, or write better netcode, or both.

Well… Servers with increased player amount were full almost all time.

Then server can carry +100 players (of course… lone fighters).
I’m sure about it, becuase my map with 25v25 (squads) and without tanks was without lags 3-4 hours.
Another time i created room with 50v50, lone fighters. It too was without lags.

Another room had tanks in map. It started lags after 30 mins… When there were many destroyed tanks.
So… Yeah. I think that Enlisted have some problems with netcode.

Maybe 6v6 with 14 squads on each side being bots trying to hold positions

I have played too many games holding positions against AI trying to break into it to see this could lead to amazing mods.

Like bunker defence against multiple AI rushing in.

How I miss fireteam in combat arms…
