Well, seeing that I was one of the fools that paid for the event (only because I wanted the rifle and smg), it is kind of ironic that I have won the Rifle, the SMG and the shotgun, but the shotgun does not show in my inventory. How bout DF keep the shotgun and replace it with four level two German MG35’s for my inconviences. 
Paying for it was bad enough, but then to have to endure playing it is another so just give me the MP35’s and we’ll call it even. 
Where did you look? In the primary or secondary weapon/ sidearm slot?

I’ve been looking in both and have not seen it, but will go back and check again. Primary and secondary… Ok, my bad, I see it in the handgun slot

Unless you encounter a bug, the sawed-off should appear in the sidearm slot.
