Type 38 trench
It was a type 38 bolt action carbine that been converted to take a non removable type 96 lmg magazine so you’ll have to load it like how you would load the Gewehr 98 trench

SMLE mk IlI trench
The SMLE trench is a normal smle but with a removable 20 round magazine and it comes with its own individual ammo pouch for the gun as a example as ur supposed to remove it and load in a new mag
Also fun fact the Charlton Lmg in enlisted uses this exact model of magazine and not its altered Bren mags

Good suggestion for an American/Japanese event. One rifle apiece I’m guessing? Preferably I’d give two to each faction spread across two events. Or one “main event” with a few other goodies.

The one you posted looks quite dubious, a straight mag for 7.62X54R? Not happening.
But this one is real, a mosin modified by Fedorov and Degtyarev in 1924 with a detachable magazine:
So all nations have an option for a trench rifle, hopefully we will see them all someday.

That’s completely fair I just think something like that would be more worthwhile having more than one of the gun. This would give us the ability to have another without having to wait at least a year to obtain a second one.
