Event = game unplayabe for casuals? Or just bad luck?

So I played 2 matches after almost a week of break and in both all I saw was presumable stacks, pros and sealclubbers. It’s simply unplayable for a casual like me.
Does anyone else also have such experience or simply I had bad luck? Because I’m done for today and if this is a trend I’m not touching the game until 25.06

What BR? BR2/5 for Germany is just unplayable now with very few outliner matches.

BR3 axis

Then i dunno haven’t played that BR3 in a long time as i was focusing on grinding BR5 Soviets and BR2/3 Americans.

But it should be obvious that a lot of people want to try mediocre Alecto, like they wanted to test FG42 II after buff but after about 3-4 days all hype was gone.

I think there are more players in for sure, which adds a bit of unpredictability to the game.

The event itself feels like a chore and doesn’t really motivate me through fun.

BR 5 axis has so far been extremely easy and BR 2 is totally fine.

Hmm…maybe? I use BR 3 ussr to grind events as quickly as possible…

For obvious reasons

Oh no…BR III Axis is just sentencing yourself to death.

Oh really? BR5 Soviets got easier than ever, now my Soviet WR got higher than Germany and soon i will reach Japan WR that is 80.54%. Recently i had only like 3 or 4 loses vs 19 wins.

I’m winning most of the time with not much effort. I’m not interested in some of the matches so i will obviously desert them (looking at you plane spammers or when team just don’t want to defend anything, don’t build any rallies/apcs or there are cheaters).

And there are some matches where i want german tryhards to suffer and keep dying and then be mad with their pyrrhic victory. One of those torture matches for germans was this match

Yeah, been playing a lot of axis recently. Often the matches in high br have had such strong teams that scoring more than 2-3k points is hard because after that you win already.

Of course you occasionally have a shit team vs. stack situations, but think my WR recently is also in the 80-90% range and that’s with minimal deserting. Also don’t really need to sweat in most games, but can chill a bit & level up random shit squads which is nice.

Br 2, typically need to work a bit harder and carry sometimes, but that’s generally in line with the “br 2 teams are pretty retarded”- effect. Still better than the average experience.

For vets BR2 Germany is either newbie/console player torture or getting stomped and have to tryhard like crazy

Poor Alecto, grinding for 6 days just for it to get blown out.

Nah the stacks are nasty during events, the only good part is that everyone is suddenly able to build rallies during it. But only on the days with rally objectives ofc.

Ah yeah that is bad atm, I know I met Sima on the other team one match, ended up soawn camping me 4 times alone that match, I mean straight within 8 seconds I was dead.

Overall was just a horrid match.

I don’t play BR3 Soviets much, but a few days ago played I think about 8 games winning 5. However, the past week I have been seal clubbed with just about any faction I choose, and I played them all.

Being a solo player myself, nothing is more annoying then getting into games against stacked groups that are organized, because you can’t organize solo players, hell, half the time you can’t get solo players to play the objectives. I think groups should play other groups and there should be a solo player mode that people can choose to only play against other solo players.

BR 3 Japan and Germany have been way tougher as of late, yeah, I guess I never connected the dots until now…

I play alone, rarely with IRL friends, and even more rarely with others on the official Discord.

No one is curated, I’ve yet to not be the best person in the squad (I’m not amazing, I can just tell the rough skill levels of people, rarely do I meet a peer, and I’m just a casual, and tbf I’ve played with like 15 different people maximum).
