I was playing as Berlin Axis and wished I had a Puma Tank from Normandy, because I like it, and it would help me do a run on the objective. Then I had the idea: there is nothing ahistorical with using these in Berlin. Why can’t we have something like a Battlepass, but that allows you to use equipment/vehicles from other campaigns?
As long as the equipment is compatible with the campaign by: 1. being from the same faction; 2. coming from an earlier-dated campaign and being transferred to a later one (i.e no Gewehr-43s in Moscow); and 3. as long as you have unlocked the gun/vehicle in the original campaign and also a squad able to use that equipment on the other campaign… Then there would be no issue, or harm to the game balance at all.
I think a lot of veteran players would be willing to spend some extra money, that they are currently not spending at the game, to unlock this ‘extra content’, and stuff like the ability to use Pumas in Berlin, Daimlers in Normandy, Biplanes in Tunisia and outside Moscow, etc. which would also be something unique compared to other players who haven’t purchased the pass.
It is a chance to make a profit, I think. It could be limited to just free vehicles, or include guns too, but either way, it would add some desirable new unlockable (and monetizable) content for basically no effort. Prices could range from like, 3000 gold, to $15 or maybe even 30 bucks like the Stalingrad pack. I would purchase it anyway…
