So reading though the news preparing us for the next update honestly I’m not looking forward too it let me explain why.
Bronze orders
Bronze orders should be for equipment. sidearms, melee weapons and of course for weapon upgrading. The current price for the weapon equipment is honestly fine perhaps make it so you can obtain sidearms and melee weapons with bronze orders too.
Silver orders
Silver orders should be for primary weaponry such as rifles, lmg, anti tank weapons and submachine guns.
Making it so you only can obtain silver orders with everything is a bad call this would especially effect newer players as there xp gain would not be that much compared to other more experienced players thus making the grind a hell of a lot longer and harder.
Conclusion
Also just to add this update is a giant fuck you to those of us who have saved bronze orders in preparation to get better equipment.
Another thing to add
If all of this disregarded however and the new update goes ahead with the current plans then at least give us a way to trade a certain amount of bronze orders for silver orders. Something like 3 bronze orders for 1 silver order perhaps ? to keep things fair.
Changing something when it is not needed often just frustrates the player base and drives long time and new players away thus destroying the player base.
Please just keep it so we can obtain equipment with bronze orders it is not a lot to ask.
yeah, I think at the very least equipment (medkits, grenade, etc) should be obtainable by bronze order. Silver for pistol is fine, maybe reduce the price a bit, because pistols are rare obtainable to begin with.
This one, I don’t quite understand. Bronze should still be useful after the update.
and if you want to play clicking game for 3 hours, you can buy random weapon, hold them until after the update, dismantle them, and you’ll guarantee get more bronze than before :v
Pistols are simply too useless to be worth a silver order.
It would be okay if every now and then a pistol dropped with a silver order used.
So either make pistols (and Nades, Kits, etc) obtainable by bronze and/or just randomly drop pistols with silver orders used for guns. But since these will be used much rarer than the random bronze order ones which came in tons the drop rates would need to be adjusted accordingly.
You can easily dismantle 15 weapons a minute - I did so for all my default rifles in all campaigns in about 40 minutes spread over a few days - 5 minutes here and there.
Dismantling over 2000 starter Mosins in both Moscow and Berlin where I have the most starter rifles are going to take awhile. Only started dismantling my starter rifles now as I did dismantle some other excessive guns on my inventory besides keeping some maxed ones that I actually want to be on reserve.
yes this is true but what about such equipment as small/large ammo packs and small/large grenade pouches this is more to what we are referring too.
No it isn’t being blown out of proportion if the changes that they want to implement get implemented its just going to mean that the game will become even more grindy. Making it so that using silver order will buy you everything is a mistake. You need to be able to use bronze orders for equipment the way it is currently is fine it not need to be changed.
