Equalization of game balance between pre-merge and post-merge players (Legacy squads, premium vehicles, etc.)

To me personally as a new player, the whole ordeal of now unobtainable legacy squads & missing premium vehicles seems like a huge and unsolved power imbalance between pre-merge and post-merge players. Let’s look at tanker-oriented players for example:

Pre-Mergers playing the German faction can rock two BR V tanks and one BR IV tank simultaneously (Tiger II H, Tiger E, Jagdpanther), being able to bring a lot of massive firepower into one single encounter, while post-merge players can seemingly only bring one BR V, one BR IV and one BR III tank (Tiger II H, Ersatz M10, Panzer IV H) into their matches at best. (The Ersatz M10 isn’t even a German design) This doesn’t seem too fair to me, and I wonder if that really was the end goal of the developers, when the initially implemented the merge.

Please don’t punish post-merge players by preventing them from accessing the same versatile and powerful squad & vehicle lineups that pre-merge players have access to until today. After all I can’t see who exactly is benefitting from this scenario, since veteran players will be bored of too little challenge, new players will feel like they missed out irreversibly, and the developers are missing out on profit they could collect by re-introducing legacy squads & missing premium vehicles.

Okay, I’ve just seen that while I was writing my initial post, the community manager actually announced that they’re bringing back the Premium Jagdpanther for German players. That’s definitely a step in the right direction, because now post-merge players can also bring two BR V tanks at once into their lineup.

YES adding premium squads in the shop and Legacy event squads to loot boxes is a fair ana balanced way for new players to gain these treasures. Or selling event and premium vehicles and squads for a fixed price for silver. Because it is about equity and not robbing pre merg players of unique vehicles and squads and selling them for pocket change. 50k silver to 250k silver is a fine price depending on the br 50k per br.

I don’t see that as advantage at BR5 as tanks are just a burden to your team and wasting tickets most of the time unless it’s a very favourable map which won’t happen every match a lot of Berlin/Stalingrad/Rzhev maps favour infantry and planes. Tank circling is mostly successfully used at BR2/3. At BR5 plane circling is new meta as planes have no solid counter outside of using your own planes.

GER BR5 lineup:

Do you see multiple tanks there??? Nope only plane circling as they are stronger than tanks.

Ger BR2 lineup:

Do you see 3 tank circling there? Ofc you do. Plus extra plane because why not.

Spoiler

BR5 Soviets:

Not a single tank as planes are more crucial and faust/plane/guerilla can take Tigers no problem in most of the cases.
BR5 Americans:

Two planes and one Rocket/HE spamming tank as Super Pershing is pretty meh and not needed by anyone.

Haven’t fixed them as i’m mostly playing BR3 but as you can see it’s only 1 tank 1 plane

A while ago, you were complaining about M8, the double standard guy.

It means the Ersatz succeeded in it’s mission to at least fool someone.

Touché. I’ve in fact never heard of the Ersatz M10’s existence before looking it up right now.

Though I think that it’s still a bit weird that it’s the only BR IV premium choice for German players (especially when facing other factions besides the US), just like I think that it’s a bit weird that the command version of the Jagdpanther is going to be more common in Enlisted than the standard combat version.
