Enlisted's grind is to high

In my opinion the grind of enlisted is to high. I think it takes so much xp to get one level starting from level 5. And an easy fix would be to lower the required xp for each level by quite a bit. And could you also implement a tech tree style campaign.

Thanks, in advance

Welcome to forums,

The grind is a pretty common topic of discussion and criticism. As of right now to my knowledge there is no news on if it will be looked at or reworked in anyway but with that being said the dev communication is not ideal so I don’t think anyone can say for certain what is coming down the pipe

Problem is that grind in most campaign is copy+paste.

under 20 lvl in every campaign u can destroy anyone. there are only 5% players against whom u will feel “my lvl isn’t enough”. but anyway im agree free players must grind campaigns like premium account owners(2x).> premium account owners must grind more faster(2x) its easy simple and they can do this in one day, this update : )

problem is the progression system, its too linear and boring because its the same things minus the vehicles throughout the campaign, a tech tree like in War Thunder does sound good, but problem is how to implement it into Enlisted.

trust me most boring thing is when u finished everything. worst part is not grind campaign, a squad tree grind is terrible. 2 years ago it was fun but now…

I have 0 issues with the grind.

Even tho I belive a grind on gear based, like a path just to grind tanks
A path just to grind smgs
A path just to Grind mgs
Etc
Would be better. And way more content could be added into the game. Also, apcs bikes etc etc

I would say that the “grind” itself isn’t the problem, however the fact that you only have campaign wide progression ultimately leads to people sticking with just their favourite campaigns, which hurts the “community” of the game, since if you reliably want to play with other people you have to also level basically all the campaigns at once.

The game needs something like “bonus EXP” for each completed campaign and faction.

I definitely think this is part of the problem but just the sheer level of grind for F2P players is too much

just make it global xp with global levels for example at lvl2 you would get basic tanks on all axis fronts, while your allies lvl is 5 so you get all basic planes across all allies fronts (pacific it’s AT rifle instead).

Depending on campaign, grind after level 15+ can be quite slow but what else is there to do? What are you going to do when you unlock that last thing you want to try?
I’m returning to old campaigns only to play the other side or to check the new things which are added, otherwise it’s like playing a game without progressions - you already got all the stuff that you wanted to try, you figured how to use it or why not to use it. What else is there to do?

Just to add to this. About two years ago, progression was much faster, you unlocked new squads faster than you could train them. I’ve just opened my old Soviet Moscow yesterday and saw a bunch of “training” squad setups where I was just leveling snipers, engineers and etc for the new radio squad that was already maxed out.
Currently plying pacific and while it is going much slower than I remember, now I’m able to max out squads BEFORE new squads of the same role are unlocked.

The grind has been the main reason i only play events, battles needed to write in the forum or when i’m really bored.
It is so heavy, monotonous and without incentives that it made me not want to unlock vehicles and units that I wanted to use because they require so much XP that they make me wonder why I have to waste my time for four pixels.
Events are now the only thing that can give me something without having to sell my soul.

Grind would be easier if the grind makes it easier. But most stuff is just sidegrade especially in campaigns such as Moscow or entire Tunisia.

Imo exp required per level is fine.
Sure I’d like to grind faster but that’s against the game concept.

The main problems are:

  • we unlock things we don’t want (for example I don’t care that I unlocked a sniper rifle I’ll never use)
  • we unlock the same things again and again in different campaigns (mostly germans)
