Okay, but when will they start working on the embarrassing enlisted AI? I love their work and their game, but the AI is really a drag and I personally think it’s the same or WORSE than it was in the closed beta 2 years ago. It’s funny how the most innovative aspect of the game is at the same time one of the worst maintained. I don’t mean to offend, but yes or if the AI needs a real overhaul and a complete update
The A.I. are known to run scripted-linear-routes, and lack the intelligence to climb and/or navigate their way through the barriers and obstacles on any given map. Where rather than following a player through a broken window frame, or the side of a blown-out building, the A.I. will decide to run anywhere from 30-150 meters, ALL THE WAY AROUND, to the nearest doorway (which has a clear and unobstructed path).
To make matters worse, when the A.I. decide to take the long way (around), it’s like they are blind zombies, who refuse to acknowledge enemy soldiers on the battlefield. Where the A.I. on both sides, can be seen running past each other, and not even stop to engage.
Other times, as enemy A.I. are just standing in the open, not giving a fuck about getting shot or seeking cover, it’s not-uncommon for a player to take a single-shot at a group of A.I., only to be instant-sniped from crazy distances, and/or impossible reaction-times.
