Enlisted vs CoD weapons (video found on YT) - shakiness

I noticed is that CoD has a lot more shakiness when firing the guns. It’s very visible on the PTRS example (see the video) and BA rifles (next gun on the video).

Maybe we could add a bit of that to enlisted? Not as much in the CoD as imo they overdid it but some would be nice. It would a bit more punch to the guns.

Also I like that in CoD soldier kind of supports his MG on his hip when reloading. Meanwhile in enlisted soldier holds his MG like if it was a pistol.

I just realised somebody wrote a similar thing in the past. But I can’t find it now.

Anyway, it was suggested to add a slight rotation of the screen when firing. So picture in the sights remains almost stable but edges of the screen vibrate quite violently.

I’ve noticed same thing

I don’t know about the shake, but the sounds in the cod are just completely arcade “mushy” and extremely dull and the same. Enlisted sounds, on the other hand, have more of a uniqueness to each weapon, and are obviously more crafted in this area.

idk…

perhaps and most likely, unpopular opinion here,

but i find both games anims bad.

i get the sense of urgency, and don’t expect trained soldiers to act like civilians, but the point i’m getting at, they seem too mechanical and not geuine.

like, they depict weapons and soldiers as infallible, but in reality, sometimes, the gun it self can jam.
or the operator it self on accident sometimes the stripper clips falls, don’t properly allign, and he / she sometimes has to visually check the chamber, where to insert them and what not.

which, in real life, for magazines, as you see on m4s and others weapons, it’s almost easy as changing a battery.
but ergonomics and reliabilty of those said weapons back then was a different concept and worked differently. above all, inconsistencies when reloading. humans aren’t really perfect.

( at least, in enlisted i’ll give them points for not slapping weapons or magazines like a dynamo torch or something )

but right now, they all looks so stiff on both and so goddamn quick.

but at the same time… i suppose not everyone is fun of rng when reloading.
which i believe it’s why it was removed.

maybe it’s just me.
