Enlisted - the Hell let loose Killer

0 signs of changes? Come on man. You know better than that.

  1. Bomb rework

  2. Spawn rework

  3. New maps

  4. New vehicles/factions

  5. Better bolt damage across the board.

  6. Aircraft spawn delay at start of match

  7. Gradual ai improvements from patch to patch

  8. Easy events for great rewards

  9. New campaign levels

  10. Engineers now in old premium squads

I mean I can keep going…

Your expectations are extremely high. They have been improving the game each patch.

And their editor and mod somewhat keep me here and waiting

Although they have a lot of detail updates, such as an update that allows players to repair teammates’ vehicles through toolboxes. And binoculars. Many players claim that most of the new features are useless.

Oh, and open top and turretless tank destroyers, whoever said they are very fun, please come out

And their improvements to the main game have been lackluster.

Maybe they think their main game mode is very attractive to players, after all, out of the 5 main modes, players keep dropping out of at least 3 of them.

This has to do with their positioning. Also brought results.

And witch one of those increases sandboxiness?

I still can’t do whatever I want or I’m being penalised.
I can’t flank with my tank in 90% of the maps. I can’t camp with AAA because we loose. If I want to build a sand castle with my engineer I get meh points and all my construdtions are leveled by one bomb run. If I want to play sniper I’m often inefective. There is strong meta that causes many weapons and squads to be obsolete.
etc etc etc

The game itself is being developed, I don’t negate that.
But since the beginning many playstyles are either not effective or straight impossible. And similarly one playstyle is being uplifted: rush.
This is my issue. Homegenous gameplay.

Effectiveness of a one or multiple ways of playstyle isn’t 100% related to a game improving and getting more content.

Also, I can die in a second using the rocket tanks, yet I see hundreds of players destroying with them.

Even camping with an AA gun is effective. To a certain degree.
Everything has a balance, a time to and when. Everything.

I find confrontation does a good job of making most classes relevant. More than invasion anyway. But i still find joy in bringing all my squad types out (and effectively)

But it related to the discussion.

I haven’t seen a single rocket tank in several months.
Nor mortar.
Nor bike.

But maybe I’m just unlucky.

No, not really.
Unless you have a very good team to hold the point. Otherwise it’s a recipe to lose.

Problem is that this “time window” to use certain things/plays is unproportionally short in comparison to other.

This is still relatively common in Normandy. Sherman’s one is almost the most.

I haven’t played normandy for a while now.
I played’ve moscow.

Strange, because I see rocket tanks (Calliope or that German truck) very often and almost every round someone is using the mortar.

Maybe you are refering to some other game ?

I play only 2 matches a day so maybe I’m just unlucky.
It’s always an option.

hell let loose - just like squad has so high FOV and no zoom on ads, that I cant spot enemies further away than 10 meters - which is the reason why scoped weapons are OP in those games - because they allow you to play the game like you would in other “sane” shooters.

This game being Hell Let Loose killer? Absolutely not but more like competition in the market with a different appeal but this does fill some of my RO2 void a bit but not completely besides some game mechanics that induce some War Thunder PTSD there.

To me it´s that I see those very often on the field but not on the kilfeed. Calliope is a deathtrap and people can´t ge kills with the mortar to save their lives. As an OG mortar main I demand the pre nerf mortar back.

I don’t understand the post are you saying that Enlisted will steal players from the Hell Let Loose community? I’m sure that can go both ways

In Enlisted:

  1. you can take and use any weapon you want
  2. you can take the sniper rifle any time you want
  3. when you hit / kill the enemy you see a clear marker / skull
  4. you can take the tank and rush with him into frontline
  5. you can fly planes, bomb enemies and kill other planes
  6. you can shoot the mortar
  7. you can jump from the plane with a parachute
  8. better team wins the round

In Hell let loose:

  1. you can take only a weapon / class available at the moment
  2. playing the sniper is not available for 99 % time and for 99 % of players
  3. you have no idea that you hit / kill someone and you dont know who killed you
  4. tanks are waste of time, as a even a smallest contact with the infantry = death (“satchel charge”)
  5. you can watch the planes from the ground, but will never use any
  6. you “can” shoot the artillery, but 99 % of time the artillery is occupied by enemy snipers
  7. you can spawn at the airhead… only when the commander use the airhead ability (once per 20- 30 min.)
  8. team with more “hackmeisters” wins the round

For me Enlisted killed Hell let loose long time ago.

Ok, this comparison made me laugh.

1, 2, 5, 7 are 100% true though.

Looking at the 30% bots in the mm, I would rather say vice versa.

Which is why most of them camp in the grey zone.
Because its too easy to get those caps…

1/4 are copy-pasted levels.
1/4 are features no one uses except weirdos.
1/4 are features which are so OP that they get nerfed so no one use them anymore.
1/4 are kinda okay to cool.

Huh
I NEVER saw the Russian T-60 Rocket Launcher and I saw like five T34s and two Werfers and they all blew up pretty easily once I saw them.

As long as the plane is slow and has paper armor and engine.

Yeah, Tunisia ghost town would like to differ about that.
