Enlisted Soundtrack

Enlisted needs a soundtrack. If enlisted had a soundtrack would you rather it be Phonk or Little Dark Age?

There already is a soundtrack with 3 songs, and it’s pretty damn good.here’s a youtube link to them.

It needs a phonk remix

Id like to see era appropriate music.

Ive previously suggested that rallypoints (which are almost impossible to locate), play music instead of morse code (which can also be hard to distinguish in battle).

A nice idea would be German radios play Lili Marlene (in German) while British radios play it in English, as in the desert war both sides used to tune into that song.

The Soviets obviously have various cool songs.

American radios could have Glenn Miller songs or British radios Flanagan & Allen. There’s various options.

Are the songs Panzerlied and/or Erika banned in Germany? You can get them on youtube and Hell Let Loose plays Erika when the Germans win so should be fine.

Erika and Panzerlied are legal even here in Germany.

I wish the composer was inspired by the early MoH series, for it was a masterpiece, I have now completely disabled music in the menu and in-game. It’s boring, but maybe that’s just for my taste.

Funny would be if it played them with only the beeps.

There is also unused music in the files, mostly ambient ones that would have played during a match.

It already has one and phone would absolutely RUIN the realism and the overall feeling of a WW2 shooter

Ah good.

After all on youtube there’s a South Korean orchestra playing panzerlied in 2015 and I know the Queensland (my country Australia) orchestra performed it at some point in this century.

I did hear both were removed from the German Army songbook.

Personally I dont see the problem, Erika is just about a girl among flowers while the first verse of Panzerlied only even mentions a tank in the last line. I dont recall the exact lyrics but I remember when I read them it was only the third verse that might be problematic just cause it mentions the German Empire, but literally just dont sing that (in Battle of the Bulge they just repeat the first verse over and over).

Like as a piece of music the French national anthem is great, probably the best national anthem in the world. But if you translate the lyrics they are literally singing that they will irrigate their fields with the blood of their enemies and I dont see anyone complaining about that.

Anyway that reminds me, I want France as a faction and French music in game. Interestingly Edith Piaf is sort of associated with WWII (many movies will have her singing from a gramophone in a deserted French town as American GIs warily advance) yet almost all of her famous songs were recorded postwar.
Id argue if we can have silly weapons that were never even built as a prototype, a recording of La Vie En Rose or Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien wont break the game

No i would rather have this:

Or this:

But better something both for in-battle themes and fractions menu themes

Phonk while driving Soviets vehicles 100%.

All the rest can be gloomy, heavy tunes like old red orchestra game.

That would completely ruin the historical aspect of the game. It’s best to just stick to listening to music over your phone or smt instead of making it a permanent feature.

No, it would just be a plus. More immersion, ambiance. (Phonk is obviously a joke)

To those not wanting to, they could put the “music” slider to 0%.

Like in all games in existence…

(There’s also nothing really historical in Enlisted )

Fym nothing really historical. It’s literally based off of world war II bro

You’re new here, eh?

That shows…

New to the game? No! new to the forum? No! New account on the forum? Yes

Then, you remember the huge debates about “historical accuracy” or “HA” for shorts? That the game left that direction to focus solely on gameplay?

That poor Veekay45 is getting more and more grey hair?

The heavily censored uniforms/flags, the time traveling tanks (Jumbo in Normandy) the time traveling weapons (m2 carbine in Normandy, mkb42h in Moscow), the prototypes! Prototypes eeeeverywhere! The strange loadouts, Moroccan warriors in desert garb fighting in Pacific beside a Pershing, the arcade run and gun gameplay etc…

Take your pick.

But more simply, something BASED on something historical (here ww2 conflicts) doesn’t mean it’s historical itself…

If so, that upcoming garbage assassin’s creed game would be called historical just because there’s Asian architecture seen in it…

Ok MB I didn’t know you meant THAT historical inaccuracy
