It can’t die on Steam since it was never alive there in the first place. Only launcher has playable player population.

What are you even talking about? The game is literally crossplay.
Yes but Steam was supposed to bring mass of new players but when they see price tag and mostly negative they will not decide to buy and play the game.
I’m currently unable to use PC at home.

I Hope its around 5-10€ or something and stuff is even remotely usable for person that has all the goodies already.

If the Beretta squad is “new” and it Is already using a tech tree weapon why not replace it with MP-40? A proper and useful SMG, while the current Beretta Is wrongly modeled since the real gun was a semi-auto carbine

you mean it is 20$ for basically 2 BR1 squads, some medkits and explosives, 7day premium and 500 gold.
I love how they are reselling squad with deployed bipod even tho they been broken since 2021.
Wrote about that in my review i hope you are happy DF and i’m waiting for a refund.

Well I go look after few hours. so 20€ for medkits etc and dung.
They done their decision and hope it gets recieved well so more players from Steam.

Many people told you that it would be perceived as a scam and pissed off that you are charging for a F2P game.
It’s no surprise it’s getting review bombed from day 1. Also there is no mention that it’s F2P on the website.
Really really disappointing and poorly handled.
For me personally as a veteran of this game. None of these squads are of interest and I don’t like how this has been implemented so I won’t be buying it.

Maybe the plan the whole time was to get it pulled off steam citing review bombing so they can contain the narrative on the forums and the subreddit
