But people should just get over it. And go play different game if they’re dissatisfied.

I definitely don’t disagree with this because it’s a waste of time and energy protesting against greedy developers. I would rather play something else. But honestly I am here for the drama and Japan.

IF that is true, they should make it clear in the Steam Store listing. I would be more inclined (still not happy) to purchase if I knew this.
There are very few ww2 games that lets you play as Japanese. If rising storm is still alive I would have played that game instead but sadly it’s dead. And I don’t like battlefield games. So, can’t play bf5.

instead we only got two squads where one is completely worthless and other is only okish, both shouldn’t cost more than $5 in total and yet they cost $20

Ahh I found it. It was behind a “buy now and receive additional bonuses” drop down on the Store page. They should probably put it in the purchase box as well, where things like that usually are.

They’re getting destroyed in the Steam Store review comments. It’s a real shame they decided to put it behind a pay wall. They should have offered the free-to-play version and then have different levels of purchasable bundles that included unique Steam content as well as already available squads/weapons/etc. People eat that stuff up. Someone didn’t do their homework.
Botched release for sure. Disappointing.
Or at the very least, they should have offered the entry level purchase price equivalent to buying one month of the battle pass (and actually giving you the one month battle pass), which I think was around $9.99 USD
That would have sweeten the deal at least. And if the basic bundle had mp41 squad and Hyde smg squad I would have bought it.
The bundles were meant to be for new players, there shouldn’t be anything in it over BR 2. Missed opportunity to bring back the founder squads. Could have added twitch drop items and the kickstarter rifles too.
