I donāt mind unlocking MP 28 or MP 34 since Japan lacked alot in SMGs. I donāt want to unlock a Kar98K though. Japan has plenty of home developed bolt actions that could be added, so they donāt really need any captured or foreign made bolt actions. (I will accept a Type I Japanese Carcano, since its atleast not a Kar98K)

Yeah, I completely agree it. Import SMG (with unique mods) is suitable for game, but rifles isnāt.
In addition, such import rifles were used by second-line unit like coastal garrisons on China, crews of warships etc so it will not suitable for game, too.
