I suggest that enlisted, considering its size, deserves a spot on the marketplace. There people could trade unwanted event items, such as vehicles, weapons and squads for Gaijin Coins (just as usual) which these, they could obtain other items they actually enjoy. This excludes camouflages (WarThunder), especially for historical reasons.
sure, i have like a hundred MP717s from the stalingrad campaign iād like to trade to fuel my veteran box addiction
I got several Soviet Squads, vehicles, weapons, pistols and swords that Iāll never use, would gradly trade them in with other people for something else.
I got a proposed trade offer from another guy on the official Discord that if ever this kind of system was implemented Iād trade my Soviet Assault-Engineers for his German Event Paratroopers, seems like a fair trade to me, and weād both walk away happy.
very nice. basically everyone has stuff for certain nations he doesnt want and would trade it for stuff of nations hed rather have.
The market would be the death of easy to do events and shift priority to pure grindā¦
Why? I donāt see the correlation between those two things, could you please elaborate?
This would be a good idea. We buy squads with unique weapons and for me it usually turns out I donāt like the Unique weapon, or I donāt have a need for that squad at the BR level Gaijin is forcing me to use it at. They call them āUniqueā, however other then for use in this video game, they have āZEROā value. For me itās pointless to collect weapons or squads that hold no value and are āNOTā going to be used in my lineups, So, if Gaijin is not going to allow us to purchase squads with fully changeable weapons loadouts, then we should be able to sell or trade these squads with other Enlisted players. Personally, I would be happy with just about every squad I have bought in my time playing Enlisted if I were allowed to change their weapons because I have half a dozen collecting dust because I like the squad, hate the weapon. So, if I can;t change it let me sell or exchange it to someone else.
The gaijin market uses esentially real money (in form if gaijin coin) and gaijin takes a cut on every sale as a fee.
If event items are commen (less demand and cheap) gaijin cant make much money as less items are sold at a low price.
If events are a pain to do less people will actually finish them and demand on the market will be higher meaning more sales at an increased price AKA more money is lost on transaction fees and gaijin makes money.
Just look at the WT market where some tanks are sold in the lower triple digit number rangeā¦
Those will be everything but affordable.
EDIT: A market place would also give hackers an incentive to hack existing players accounts and steal everything they own.
Thank you. While this is a thing to definitely consider, I think the positives are way to attractive to be outweighed by the risks. And note that i say risk, this is not guaranteed to happen even if itās gaijin. But definitely not something to ignore, you are right.
For the example you have shown: Events donāt work in enlisted the way they do in WarThunder, to make them more difficult they would either have to change the entire system or increase the required points. But please feel free to share your thoughts about this.
Also the veteran box would 100% interfere with the markets potential to make money for gaijin so you can 100% be sure that those would be retired to keep the price for the event squad high.
That can be changed and if you remember the initial event requirement for the winter christmas event a year or 2 ago ( i believe it was the assault engineers) those where truely ludicrous before they slashed them almost by half.
This is a great idea but Gaijin seems to want to make $$$. I get that developers need to get paid and servers runā¦but the premium squads and gold coins are definitely over priced. One high end premium squad costs $80CDN for something you can ONLY use every third squad rotation, in that exact BR and only for that factionā¦thats almost the price of a PS5 game!
If you bought the squads, and all the gold needed it would cost $10kās of thousands and definitely not worth it. Streamers and content creators seem to get endless gold to buy everything but most of us arenāt that fortunateā¦especially when some premium squads arenāt that good.
The greedy pay system is what kills alot of EA endeavoursā¦those that buy premium passes, battle passes and the occasional cool premium squads shouldnāt be penalizedā¦itās what makes players leave the gameā¦content creators too.
And I would gladly trade some as I didnt reached that far in Stalingrad back then, sad that it most likely wont be ever done
Market places attract cheaters - we should be careful with such mechanics.
it should be locked for newcomers, only people who have played certain amount of time could access it
Very good idea, that might fix some issues.
No, this will only bring more hype and score boosting studios.Itās unfair to ordinary players. And once the event squads are Commercialization, it will be even harder for us to obtain it.(I believe we will at least lose the box because of this.)
Everyone is aware of how time-consuming the Thunder of War event can be.
Looking at the past āmergerā and the current ādeserter punishmentā, havenāt we learned our lesson yet?
They are more willing to implement any suggestions that are not beneficial to players.Because they didnāt expect us to be willing to accept these.
