What I saw was the AVS-36 and ZH in Moscow, and various magic automatic gun weapons from the Battle of Berlin.
I don’t know what players were thinking when they put Fedorov into the Soviet Red Army attacking Berlin a long time ago.
Is this very historical or something?
The true pastoral era of match-mode combat only existed during CBT.

Another possibility is that they believed it would make it into the real history books.
In fact, it is obvious that what is presented in the game is fake, most of the time, it (comes with many nonhistorical) is not about to happen, it has happened for a long time.
Even though I think this could all be better, I’m tired of laughing at it.
When you see players claiming that the game has become unhistorical because of a certain update.
Please tell them about the Tiger tanks on the beaches of Normandy and the Allied destroyers shooting at each other on the beachhead.
This happened a long time ago. It’s been like this almost from the beginning.
I’m not holding it against you, in fact I sincerely hope they provide a better game mode that more closely resembles the historical atmosphere of combat.
But I think you’ll hardly find that in arcade mode.
Maybe you should try the Big Action mode.~

To he honest. I am here becuase I can murder tons of ai. historical accuracy? dont really matter. I am thekind of guy would support allies into berlin map or german in pacific map just for the fun
That’s pretty fair, even tho I would dislike germans in Pacific.
As for Historical accuracy, something like that only existed in this game during closed test periods. Just like you said.
Later, I adapted and considered this game more of a “what if” scenario. And it worked completely fine. Because even though we had completely “crooked” individual campaigns, but maps and the general setting, also the implementation of (very poor) customization, it was actually possible to more or less get the immersion and feeling of the WW2 era.
But merge (at least as it is now on the test server) is a complete mess and style chaos. Most of the players who are completely uninterested in certain historical elements and are here only ifor competitive esport factor, everything will be ok for them after the merge. But those who were really here because of the fact that it is a WW2 game, very possibly just bail out. Devs are lazy
Tommy’s right his game modes more consistent and more fun and it doesn’t matter how powerful or better your weapon is when you can be taken out by howitzer Strike or a bombing raid or squad of tanks and the damage has been increased for semi-automatic or automatic weapons.

If we are talking about historical accuracy then that boat sailed long ago brother, to give you an example Japan doesn’t even have the correct colors for their uniforms, has more than 8 weapons available that didn’t even left trials, Type 1,2 & 3 tanks didn’t saw combat either, is not about historical accuracy but about balance and equipment accuracy if anything
I don’t think the game was ever perfectly tuned to Historical accuracy, i mean there’s Jumbos on D-Day, experimental never used AS-44 assault rifles in Berlin, and Panzer IV F2s in Moscow, the game was never tuned perfectly to history.
Not to mention the idea of changing the grinding from the campaign to the tech tree system was an idea that mostly came from the playerbase due to the fact most long term players, especially Germany players, kept unlocking the same equipment multiple times while also have a low player count in certain campaigns.
You don’t need to like the direction the update is going but its a problem that they are attempting to fix. And canceling a game and claiming its ruined for releasing an early test of their ideas of the future just doesn’t make sense.
moreover, I find it scandalous that there isn’t the nation of Italy and England to choose from but hey there are the Japanese…I repeat, a shitty update to say the least and I’m not the only idiot to say it, I hope there are many of us for the future of the gaijin that this abomination of fake update never sees the light or it will be the end for these 100% ruined game crazy mentally ill people to the nth degree
each campaign must have its specific units and its armament full stop otherwise it will be yet another shitty game like all the others suitable for an audience of teenagers but if you like it that way
