I have been playing for a solid 7-8 months now and I can truly say I’m hooked. I found Enlisted from YouTube personalities hawking it as an advertisement and I stayed away at first but once I joined, I haven’t gone back to anything else. I finally did give in and bought a Battle Pass Elite but I feel like this needs to change due to the new Silver Econ changes (I almost think this change was TOO good as I am making my way through the TT SOO fast now). New incentives need to be introduced to keep players paying for this service. However, I realize there are other priorities at stake atm. My favorite additional has been the bonuses to choose “Any Army” as I almost exclusively choose this option and play most Allies & USSR BR2, Axis BR5 (since I have the most BP weapons and event squads) and Japan BRI (my least fav and least advanced through the TT)
All I really wanted to say here is I appreciate this community and hope everyone has a grand, victorious day (besides anyone who plays against me and my console brothers).
Wholesome post.
This is exactly how I feel every day. This game is awesome and I have pretty much stopped playing everything else. The only question I have is why there are not even more people that feel this way.
True true. Lots of B*tching on here and not enough praise. I can’t wait to see what the Devs come up with next!
2024 levels of entitlement.
I’m sure most of you guys know this but by FAR the best WW2 doc series I have ever watched is the [TimeGhost WW2 ](https://timeghost WW2 youtube channel) channel. They will cover the last week of the war tomorrow I believe and ALL of their content is hands down the best. I subscribe and donate. Please do yourself a favor check them out! They are also getting into the beginning of the Korea war (week by week as they did with WW2 and WWI on the [GreatWar ](https://greatwar youtube channel) YouTube channel.
Because everyone has a genere of game Who give them hype, as far we can enjoy multiple different videogame, there would be always a game Who hype you than any other can do
Dope
We are all glad you enjoy the game as much as us!
We all feel this way - we are just nerds that like to argue all day long.
No we’re not!!!
How dare you? I must now quote Wikipedia to prove you wrong with real war statistics!
Yes, TimeGhost is great! I watch their channels.
I love Enlisted too. It is definitely my most favorite game for the past 6+ months, and I started playing the game after Simple History got sponsored by them
Ahh very similar for me although I believe it was the HistoryGuy who got me interested. Also a great YouTube channel for WW2 and other historical content!
Thank you for your post. It’s great to see some positivity in the community.
Enlisted 3 years ago was in my opinion unplayable. Normandy for example youd SPAWN YOU DIE SPAWN YOU DIE. (thanks to constant artillery and aircraft bombs).
It was impossible to pick up weapons from the ground due to bugs, and the toxic community ranted about how the devs didnt want you to pick up weapons. After being verbally abused and swore at online multiple times, low and behold the devs released an update fixing the damn problem and proving that they HAD intended people to retrieve weapons from the ground.
Enlisted has come a long way since then. There are a lot of choices by the developers I question, however overall I really respect and appreciate how they have worked to make this game better.
Making Enlisted a Better Place updates were a godsend (and were almost guaranteed to prove the toxic community wrong with basically everything everytime myself or other players pointed out issues or raised concerns being eventually addressed)
Each update was a big improvement. The first BIG update I experienced was the long awaited addition of Tunisia. That allowed for British soldiers so that was good and new, interesting maps.
Then we got Stalingrad. An unnecessary interlude between Tunisia and the Pacific, (the idea was basically just Berlin with signs in Russian), but I did find the gameplay better.
Then we got Pacific, the best so far when myself and my squadmate finally started understanding how to play the game and even enjoy games occasionally.
Finally we had the merge. It was controversial, and I agree theres various issues that need to be resolved, but overall I think the merge has really helped and improved Enlisted.
For example variety of maps. I agree it will be good when we have a bit more choice over maps, but as Germany-Italy and USA-UK its awesome getting to play all these different maps instead of being stuck purely in Tunisia or the Pacific for example.
Thanks to the merge Ive almost completed the Allies tech tree (excluding tanks/aircraft which I dont use), which wouldve been impossible pre merge. (Im currently researching the M1941 Johnson for example which previously was like the last unlock for Pacific US so I probably never would have got it).
Recent economy changes are the best thing since sliced bread and air conditioning. (especially for pistols which were ridiculously overpriced before).
There have been some great suggestions and discussions on this forum about where Enlisted can go from here.
If the devs read this I would encourage them to choose wisely when making new maps.
There’s heaps of potential for content, including maps, squads and weapons.
I am happy that the devs are listening to us and so I think enlisted will be even better when we get more unique maps and theatres rather than just focusing on whats already been done before.
(eg. there was a new Pacific map, nice to have, but it was so similar to previous ones within like a week Id forgotten there even was a new map, which is not good for keeping people interested when we are playing the same maps over and over and new maps just resemble existing ones)
Keep up the good work everyone
bragging much?
Haha I mean out of any other faction I have more BP weapons for Germany (just one Conders and the Knorr mg). I don’t have a bunch of BP weapons. I don’t pay for anything but the elite BP season pass (which as I mentioned idk would be worth it in the future with the Econ changes they made, which made EVERYTHING Sooo much cheaper).
ok then that means we are the same
Well good I always want to be associated with the common folk.
