It would be good if the game was launched on steam to reach more public, since steam has local payment possibilities and a wider community, which I think it would be convenient for the game to expand

Steam is good and all (marketing and quality of life) but I don’t like the idea of the devs getting less money because of steam tax always annoyed me…

You don’t need to worry about that.
Gaijin usually just marks up the prices on Steam to make sure they get the same amount of money from each sale. Those who don’t want to pay more, buy directly from Gaijin.
That’s how it should be done as far as I’m concerned, instead of billionaires shedding crocodile’s tears about “Steam tax” being too harsh and unfair.

Right, that’s how most studios do it as well.
Also why Apple is asking for Steam’s sales history to disprove that myth Epic is spreading about commissions.
