The theme song for the documentary borrows the title of the film.
I remember seeing this movie at a video rental store when I was a kid, but instead of watching it then, I rented Private Ryan and went home.

I’ve seen The Pacific (2010) and Das Boot (1981), both were interesting.
I even bought Eugene Sledge’s book about “the Pacific”, and in that book it says that Japanese soldiers shot at the BAR were mutilated in the torso, can you believe it?
