My start up screen is stuck in “downloading update info” does anyone else have this problem?
It’s a fairly large update, so it could take a while. I had a different problem yesterday trying to get the game to launch. I’ll copy and paste the information (below) for you so you can compare problems. I’m not sure if my solution will work for you, but giving it a try certainly shouldn’t hurt. Here’s the info:
My game just updated; however, I can no longer launch the game. I received the following message: Insufficient System Resources exist to complete the requested service.
Then I get a second message stating that battle eye is launching the game, but it doesn’t launch.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

It will also be worth “checking files” on the launcher (click the “spanner” icon in the top right of the launcher, then click “check files”), and a clean PC reboot may help to solve it. If there are still issues after this, may you please DM myself with your launcher/game log file? We do need this ASAP to solve it!
Alternatively, you can make a bug report on our CBR portal with your .clog file attached at the link below?

If you are unable to even launch game, we can do with launcher logs too (a slightly different folder in the game files). We need this to fix this issue for you!
I forgot to mention that I did a restart of my PC prior to updating the game. Whenever I do a restart I lose connection to the Internet. I think I may have had corrupted file(s) or missing file(s) because of this. When the launcher tried to connect to the Internet, it couldn’t until I did a manual connection to the Internet. Then it seemed to work fine, and after the download finished it said my game was up to date—apparently it wasn’t.
After I clicked “check files”—as you suggested—and the analysis completed, one or more files were downloaded. It seems to have fixed the problem, so thanks for your help!
Do you think I should uncheck the “auto update” option in the launcher since I lose Internet connection on a restart? I think that’s where the problem occurred…
