Enlisted, do this:

Well, you’re missing the main point here. What did COD do in this case? By introducing the option in the settings, for the player to choose between the swastika and the cross, they allow the player to interpret these signs as he understands them. This diversity is a very correct way to incorporate totalitarian symbols into historical games. If you don’t like them, you turn them off yourself, but leave it up to those, who interpret them as a part of history.

As stated above its most likely a legal question, rather than falsifying history
( Which the game does already rather well )

Well. as you can see, the COD has found the right, correct solution (which is the essence of this debate).

No it hasn’t.

During the Second World War. The Whermacht almost never wore the Nazi swastika armband for the simple reason they made the soldiers easy targets as they could be seen from a considerable distance.

They were worn by auxiliary units, Hitler Youth units and various Nazi functionaries but such groups were not viewed as part of the German military.

Well yes if you make a game that is far as possible from historical accuracy you probably can use the swastika symbols.

I don’t really understand your arguments when we’re not talking about the Wehrmacht specifically. Read the article I put in the OP.

Ps. I have been studying German military history for almost 20 years;)

The only Units you could possibly put into the game which might justify it are SS units.

The vast majority of the rest simply would not have worn them. If you have been studying military history, I am sure you know this.

also,…

The swastika symbol, 卐 (right-facing or clockwise) or 卍 (left-facing, counterclockwise, or sauwastika), is an ancient religious icon in the cultures of Eurasia. It is used as a symbol of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.

you can still see swasticas on hindu temples today:

btw:

there was a porpose on russian laws about swasticas, donno if it was acepted;

besides that, i m not aware of laws against swasticas on other parts of the globe.

Berlin with iron cross banners just doesn’t feel right regardless

Maybe the Einsatgruppen, but such groups would not appear in battle like this.

I’ll grant you that one.

WH/SS had this eagle with swastika on literally every uniform.
dddd

The question here is about the symbolism seen on flags, posters, and the like. There is no discussion about the notation of individual units  . By the way, you can always leave breast eagles, or the sleeve Waffen ss ones, just without a swastika. (Enlisted already have such uniform placeholders as the Luftwaffe pilot tunic)

I share it mostly for lols but it’s interesting how much nazizm changed swastick symbol.

I really like enlisted but without swastikas the game feels kinda empty, there is no real feeling of fighting germans, it just feels like fighting someone…

Insecure? That’s a rather amusing fantasy of yours - you’re the one who’s apparently terrified of a few pixels. Fucking hell, and you people wonder why you don’t get taken seriously.

Just say you want to wear swastikas rehardless of historical authenticity

I hate naziboos
But the fall of Berlin without the proper nazi war banners looks fucked and the censored one looks retarded
