Enlisted Cinematics - The Hidden Potential

Hello there! I’m Dan, a casual Enlisted enjoyer.

I am quite enjoying the game for what it is, but we’re missing out on something! Enlisted provides us with beautiful graphics and scenery, and cinematic potential is really a thing. Although Darkflow has yet to provide us with useful tools like Replay Mode & Free View Camera, we could still create cinematic shorts within the game!

There are easy steps to film inside Enlisted! (Hope you don’t mind the copy-paste from an old post of mine)
0. First of all, you could disable your HUD by Ctrl + Shift + G

  1. Sit in a Kubelwagen (The Axis Jeep) and face the sides so you will have the perfect angle not blocked by any objects, you’re free to film.
  2. Hold an Allied Mk.II grenade (American/British only) and lean to the right, the grenade should be low enough to not affect your vision, it’s recommended to crop the frames that are filmed with this method though, because the grenade would still take up a lil’ bit of screen space.
  3. This is an extreme way of doing it but if you’re a hardcore adventurer you could try this: Fly your plane above the place you want to film, jump off the plane and deploy your parachute. There you go, a perfect wide angle of the entire battlefield (for some specific scenes only).
And of course, you’d need a screen recorder to film all of this ;D

Earlier this year I have got a few of my friends to help me out with some short film projects, you could call them prototypes. They turned out pretty well, but are still lacking a lot of parts, especially the ambience and scale of the battlefield.

I would love to gather a small filming community for Enlisted, imagine the war stories we could create together!

Imagine what could be done with free-cam, replay mode and passwords on servers
