A CDK for Enlisted could be the secret to keep the game running for many years.
I imagine an entire community working together to make 1:1 scaled historical locations like Kursk, Stalingrad, Normandy, Sicily, etc…
What does CDK mean ?
dev/modding tools.
War Thunder after many years finally started participating with community content. hopefully it wont take that long with enlisted.
yes please…
so me and some other folks can work on skins and maps…
What can I say… Many games that are 10+ years old are still very popular because of community modding. There is literally no reason in the whole world not to give your players this possibility.
it’s still a beta.
that’s why
like, war thunder has been released in 2012, and the cdk got released 2015ish
so unfortunately, we ain’t gonna see any cdk any time soon
( but it’s understandable )
Judging by other products it can be in Alpha for 10+ years. Modding keeps even worst games alive. This Beta and Alpha stages don’t mean anything today. Dota is in Beta, you know…
and that says alot of the title.
i can somewhat agree.
i’m quite confident they do actually.
otherwise, are just used as exsucses ^^.
above all that you could have mentioned, i wouldn’t have done that.
but, matters of opinions i guess
I’m just thinking that War Thunder SDK isn’t that hard to rebuild for Enlisted. I can even guess they were using some sort of that for creating Enlisted.
So yes, the maps where the biggest dissapointment in the entire game, a bunch of locations compressed into one 1:4 scaled map.
I really don’t want the devs to rule out an CDK out.
Would be great but we’ll see. Games with micro transactions don’t tend to be very welcoming towards the modding community.
