These days, I play Tunisia Axis and Normandy Allies. In these battles, I find my partners do not want to build rally point(or they are AI). But only one rally point I can be built at a time. The enemy easily stopped our attack and destroyed my rally point. My comrades cross the enemies fireline, and died, then we lost the battle.
I know allowd player build more rally points may make the strong side stronger. But, If they want to have more rally points, they will build them, whatever you limit it or not.
On the other hand, limits on the number of rally points will affect the weaker side more, especially when the weaker side lacks real players.AI,and some players do not build rally point, so their route was so fixed that the enemies could easily ambush them. But, if engineers are allowed to build more Rally Points, 2-3 or more, they will have more tactical choice, Whatever they lost, players who build rally points and those who actively fight can also get a good experience, they can no longer choose to hide at the end or simply quit the game.
I really hope the development team can consider and accept my opinion.
Sincerely.
No! If your team is so selfish that they cant waste 20 sec for build a rallypoint they need loose, and you need quit and find a battle with decent player
This event really shows that even when given an engineer in almost every squad people still wont use them. Fucking sad
Enlisted enginer
I’ll analyze the problem and the proposed idea:
I’ll start with the cause of the problem. With Enlisted’s currently limited playerbase, Tunisia Axis and Normandy Allies suffers uneven matchmaking frequently. Posts in the forum reflect this problem. This problem could also happen in any campaign, because people choose different severs and play at different times. And for the same reason, some people may not have experienced these problems yet.
If engineers are allowed to build one extra spawn point, they will certainly build them when their team lacks them. I think the lack of rallies problem could be at least partially solved this way.
Another benefit is the possibility of gaining more engineer exp per match, however teams that don’t lack proper players would find it harder to earn eng exp, because of competition to place them. IMO this is ok.
But the big problem is, defending teams with lots of engineers could build like 5 rallies around the point. This allows them to spawn almost simultaneously and reinforce the point quickly, and also effectively, as they arrive from different directions, naturally generating crossfire. In short, this will make attacking very difficult, if you are facing a proper team.
So, no to this idea.
Deserting this match and finding a new match is the current solution, and it works well. As both sides get what they want.
Good defenders: a easy exp farm. This is the reason they want to stay.
Good attackers: a fairly possible win, when they find a good team later.
