we don’t even have engie 3s yet, and you’re already thinking for engie 4? i respect that but to further expand about your suggestion:
America(normand): 90mm m3
german(normandy): long 75mm PaK
soviets(moscow): 76mm AT gun
germans(Moscow): flak 88
Soviets(berlin): 85mm D-44
Germans(berlin): possible long 88
Axis(tunisia): cannone da 90/53
Allies( tunisia): 17 pounder

D-44 is postwar era field cannon. As for propper period - BS-3 (100mm) will fit much better.

i think a flak 16 would be better
also a flak 37
technically it is but it was produced in 44 so it counts for the devs sadly
flak 16 is a ww1 cannon and only lasted until 1918
Design finished in 1944, but gun get in army issue in 1946 only. And we still have potent BS-3, that was viedly used in Battle of Berlin.

Not sure if the power creep is good thing since there is no tiered match making. Low tier players would be outclassed more and more.

before get to have enginer 3 equipped with m16 i would prefer squads to undergo a rework, fun having to grind 20k xp and more for a new building and the squad comes with a fantastic automatic weapon, at this rate the enginer 5 will use ESO and laser-rifles

No. Flak 8.8cm should be pre build stationary weapon, not engie building. It weighs 5 tons!!! Building Pak 40 is weird enough, we don’t need magical summon of such big structure.

Do we need 4 tier troopers at all? I think devs should stop on 3.

This is a cool idea.
Well, that could actually work, kinda like a secondary mission, “bring your pioneer squad up here, and build up that 88 flak” - takes extra long to build but once constructed a powerful defense.

Bonus feature, objective is automatically lost since no player bought a pioneer squad for battle.
