I used to play Crossout (another Gaijin’s game) and there was the option in the practice range of testing your vehicles against bots. I think this feature should be added in Enlisted to help new players to learn how to target moving enemies or just for testing your new weapons.
It would be nice to have some buildings in the practice area (maybe a little town) defended by bots. When you are a noob, it takes some time to learn how to throw a grenade through a window or how to climb up on the roof of a destroyed house using the broken walls.
There are many players who never played planes before, so having the possibility of practice against AI planes would help people to use them properly.

Imo custom lobbies with password would serve this purpose better. Just add the password already and give new players an information that they can practise there and learn the maps.

Can we actually do that? I never played custom lobbies so I don’t know very well how they work. I thought that you had to play with at least another player.
No, you can play with bots only. You will get some pathetic experience (thanks to idiots that abused AI and got crazy xp) but you can at least practise and learn maps.
All we need is a password / private lobby and a message to new players that this thing exists and how it works.

I agree you should be able to password servers and set bot count at the cost of simply disabling XP gains entirely. When we’re trying to host events and versuses XP gains aren’t really a concern.
