not got any medals its play to win game now but this is the only game which penalises you for a a game where your br1 v bR3 whats medals got to do with it no end the demotions not interested in medals or the hackers who get 1540 kills
Rank means nothing atm. And frankly, once one understands that, the better off they will be. Just play, try and enjoy the game.

true. rewards are relatively bad, but i still want them. after i collect them i dont care about rank.
I’m in favour of desertion when a mode isn’t fun, or teams are obviously unbalanced to the point of being a one sided massacre (it’s just not fun, and I play for fun.)
But, I also accept the lil penalty for doing so: a loss. Well, it probably should be counted as a loss for those who think stats are important.
But seriously, ranks should never have been implemented. They’re just detrimental for gameplay, they never brought any good other than the small unlocks they give. They even CAUSE desertion.

But players who stay get the same punishment as those who leave when they realise they will lose.
At least remove this stupidity of losing 1 point from your rank score for losing, only deserters should lose rank.

Fair point.
I also proposed to remove the “xp penalty” for losing team, which is effectively minus 1.5x xp (or rather give that also to losing team). If both teams gain the same base xp, and rewards are ONLY based out of PERSONAL merit/accomplishments, then being in a losing team would mather much less, and those trying desperately to carry it, be justly rewarded.
But! The community here is dumb and instead of giving proper arguments say things like “skill issues they just need to play better, we prefer the game to remain shitty”
Those same geniuses are also the same ones who “reeeeee, punish deserters moaaaar!!!”

Why should only those who stays in match be punished by crippling theirs stats?

That’s the thing! It does!
What I want is for devs to remove or fix the CAUSES of what make ppl desert. Because desertion is a symptom of:
- bad or rather non existing mm.
- poor game modes.
- biased rewards/penalties
- no incentives to remain in a clearly losing match.
- etc.
Fixing those, would greatly remove reasons to desert. And if AFTER that, ppl still do… THEN, by all means, punish them more.

i have almost never seen game devs revert relatively big decisions after implementation
at least they should have done a better job of hiding. you can still see ranks at beginning of the match and in kill feed.
its not desertion but demotion although ranks may not do much but they didn’t give you better kit more awards I thought that but were down to balance as usual its worse then ever they may be very good but no point playing if we face guys with tiger tanks v a stuart and they all have mg 42 v rifles inone game they just slaughter the entire team no one go any where near a base lol the Normandy beach in 8 mins the germans wiped us out we didn’t get off thebeach so if this is what the mean by up fate n merge I’m out half the team were Chinese n wh knows what so if I see chiese players imout no point whenthey get 145 kills
I guess it’s a problem with players who send low-level tanks up to be used as cannon fodder.
Their guns will be more useful than tin cans

All you need is a normal player to blow up those tanks with a 500 pound bomb
As long as two players who know how to take the long way around should be able to solve the massacre problem

Because no matter how good your equipment is, you can’t change the situation of the battle.
Exiting the game will greatly improve the gaming experience
