End Perk Roulette

No one enjoys this feature. You re roll perks over and over hoping the next 12,000 exp gets you the perk you want out of 3 choices. Its a poorly implemented system and should be replaced. Why can’t we just choose from a list of ALL available perks without a lottery system? Remove the lottery and let us just pick.

On one hand side i would like a different system on the other hand side i see everyone +35%HP -40% recoil absolute effortless.

I mean everyone still gets it eventually anyways but currently its simply frustrating. Hell double the exp required for all I care because its still less than rolling it 4-6 times. You still have to pay the bronze tax to unlock it.

Just reimplement perk rerolling points

Yep another great idea. Allow us to build up points with exp so we can try multiple times. The current system is shit

Yeah sure, its as well annoying to me when i re-roll a perk and i simply want Bolt-Action cycling speed and i never get it.

Haven’t played for a long time so maybe this mentioned perk rerolling points would be something.

It’s funny you say the bolt action perk because that was exactly what made me create this thread. I LARP in Tunisia so my British squads use only bolt actions but damn if I can EVER get the bolt action cycling perk to show up

Exactly the same for me, playing Tunisia as well but as axis, think i got it once by now. :joy:

I LARP as Axis in Tunisia as well :joy: To the point where Germans can only use German weapons and Italians can only use Italian weapons. Yep so the Breda will be used forever, no MG34s for me :frowning:

you’re just unlucky.

I don’t do that but I’ve only self loading rifles on my Radio Operator Squad. I mostly liek to Just the M1 Beretta, Bolt Actions and the M38 Sniper, its in my opinion the best and the rather low zoom even allows to excel at close ranges.

A feature that relies on luck is pretty shit imo

M1 Beretta is pretty great. Super cheap to upgrade too

luck is always there either directly or indirectly.

I think the lotto should be in effect except for the last perk, which should be free choice (assuming you have the points for it).

After all, a soldier who was conscripted and inexperienced would probably be pretty random quality-wise, but after years of fighting and deprivation, he’d be a lean, not-so-green fighting machine who’d have enough experience to know what he needed to improve specifically

The perk lottery is the last form of gambling in the game and it needs to go the way of random weapon and troop orders.

I agree that they need to remove or rework the vitality perk in particular, since it’s essentially a requirement to stay competitive. Increasing time to kill is a big thing in this game, and gives such a distinct advantage that it’s considered the must-have perk.

This limits versatility and differentiation between soldiers when they are all forced to use the same perks, in addition to further spread between the capabilities of new players to veterans who have had time to pump up their squads.

Don’t take away the fun of gambling…

Gambling is great and you have nothing to lose by rolling perks. It’s a great factor of randomness and keeps the most squads from beeing perfect.

Period!

I insist that the perk rng stays!
