First of all, I appreciate that there have been recent changes to the point rewards for several actions in the game.
I feel that devs have missed the biggest need for adjustment: The way that capping is rewarded.
In my view, some of the changes introduced in the past year (bolt-action changes, heavy machine guns - to name two) have been such that better enable or encourage hanging out at the back more. In my subjective experience, the games where the majority of the team just straight up ignores the objective are becoming more frequent.
Everyone is entitled to play the game however they want, but in my view it’s not particularly exciting or interesting when the attacking side just refuses to attack.
I would therefore propose that the players who do attack and play the point, should also get higher rewards with the following changes:
1.) Points for caps are increased by 200% for invasion + destruction, 100% for assault & confrontation and 50% for conquest
2.) Points are rewarded as % of cap, not for the cap moment
3.) Any slowdown due to cap timer speed decrease (for instance, for capping a point with a single soldier) acts as an additional multiplier to the points
In addition to that, maybe the game should sometimes flash a text on the screen to remind people to help their team and attack the point.
