Enable some weapows only to some squads. but when it squad upgrade is donne all can use it

there is a hell of a mess in Battle of Berlim whit all those FG42 killing russians at tons.

but the point is more complex and interesting to explore that look in frist place.

if in squad structure, where you select what classes you squad will have in the game using the game hub there will be some squads able to use FG42 when it unlock this squad perk.

the most interesting about it, is when comes about shotguns. many squads shoud unlock shotguns has a equipment that anyone can carry.

some squads will unlonk small SMGs to anyone carry has well. such perks will actual be in level 2 squads has the ability to build HMG is to level 2 engenier squad.

the correct combination of nerfing FG42 to only some late squads, AND the ability to russian squads get to all menbers some weapows will do the job quite well.

for exemple, i have a engenier squad level 2. the i got a weapow upgrade that alow me to use 1 SMG to any class of soldier then i place it in a engineir. futher i advance i able to place 1 more SMG weapow in another enginier OR other classe soldier in the squad.

to me it is oportunity to balace things and give more love for 2 weapows perk.

I recently replaced ALL my semi auto G43 for fg42. Don’t blame me, blame the fools who thought nerfing semi and not full auto was a good idea :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Making a bad problem worse by nerfing things unneccesarily seems to be the prevalent strategy with the development of this game. Auto weapons stomping because you can put them on almost any soldier? Nerf semis so early/mid level players can’t counter them and cause even more people to start wrecking with autos! Flawless thinking!

I’m pretty sure people would start rioting if it was implemented this way. Premium squads were nerfed because you could field 7 Assaulters back in CBT, if you could do it with normal squads + they could keep their class abilities it’d be even worse than in CBT, except the premium squads would be irrelevant. Just imagine a squad of Assaulters all with PPSh or Stg44 who can call arty, put down ammo boxes and carry an AT weapon.

that depeds of the dose, squads should get 2 or maximun 3 extra equipement, that for sure. de cobination and the dose is up the DEVs.

I would love extra equipment for sure, that we can agree on. But people find automatics problematic enough as it is already so that part of it would just cause more issues with the community.

yes, everthing must be balaced. i sure of it.

the AVT is just an AVS with an extra magazine and slightly different sights lol

has much the overpowered guns are part of the discusion, it takes alot more deep. alot more deep

it,s about a change that WILL change all squads. giving then another structure

so keep in mind i talking about extra features on the 3 upgrande menus, the weapows one. where you unlock weapows upgrades and discounts on upgrades and more parts when you destroy you own guns.

the point is, IF IT WILL BE DONNE, need to keep in mind to avoid the squads to be OP, since every squad will recive this new feature means it can be a tool of balace. but we must keep in mind it must be well donne otherwise will futher unbalace the game.

so when you get a new squad some upgrades will unlock more squad menbers to use some types of guns, that also counts for Shotguns, SMGs, AND FG42, AVT-40 and more,

that,s is the point of this topic. something that help balace the game giving us at the same time more flexibility to our squads.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to know that every squad has a diferent structure of how it advance so it is simple but requery a good dose and the mix whit the alerdy squad existing features.

i don,t know if this ideia ever get life, but DEV,s for god sake don,t make semi auto rifles intro the cathegory of extra weapows.

the possibilitys of equipement may be.

  1. Single Shotgun
  2. Single SMG (most squad will have this option very common one)
  3. Single Assault rifle (late game squad will have 2 or 3 sourcers to get this one in the upgrade grade)
  4. Extra Bag
  5. Extra weapow
  6. (if engenier squad) Extra resourcers
  7. (if crewman) Extra Machine gun ammo for the tank
  8. (if crewman again) More sheels for the cannon
  9. (if aircraft) Extra aircraft ammo for machine gun;
  10. (if aircraft squad) Extra ammo for bombs
  11. single sniper (few squad abble to get this upgrade but still interesting some squads have it)
  12. single LMG (considerable rare posibility but still interesting)

it will be interesting to have some compulsory extra weapows, something you don,t need to choice. like the class soldiers in a assaulter squad, you have 3 compulsory assaulters when you upgrade you squad grade, so it will be interesting that all assaulter squads have one compulsive shotgun in the extre weapows tree.
