No thanks. No magic vision 4 u.
For be sure, ONLY in the editor?
Low graphics abusers strikes yet again. They’ll do literally everything to get slightest advantages over others.
it’s only in the editor
They should not have the power to block other player to enjoy realistic graphics in fair game. Developers had made a lot of effort to improve grass effect and performance on low end PCs.
The grass impact FPS and considering bots have magic eyes why can’t we do the same…
Nah this is the same kind of concession that leads to begging for ULQ
"I need X because uhh uhh I just do okay??
This should never have been a thing in warthunder…or anywhere
Or terrain render distance
Having such prehistoric hardware that you must to care about this… Such a hardware shouldn’t be even able to run this game. It ruins experience for literally everyone.
Ew
Or their PC is garbage.
no.
even if that would help to run many computers.
it’s too much of an advantage.
which bad actors would use.
Absolutely not. The foliage including the grass in this game makes for tactical usage. Its the same reason you aren’t allowed to snap pings directly on infantry and it follow.
It would make it too easy and arcade like.
As a potato player, I will tell you that grass isn’t the worst thing tanking the FPS. Flames, especially permanent ones like on Birch Groove, make the game run slower (reason I don’t like Birch Groove). Compared to this, Forestry, where there is a lot of grass, runs pretty smooth. Another thing that likes to nom on the frames is the terrain deformation after bombing runs, although only for a few seconds while terrain re-renders.
I don’t think there should be an option to disable grass. Because it kills all the fun of playing a sniper or any immersion in combat. And in Japan, the grass should be several meters high.
As much as i would enjoy the second SS, (due to eyesight), the Mowed Lawns,
But yeah cant see it happening, for most of the reasons above
No. There is no place for cheating by changing the graphics setting.
Yes, I want to see as ai.
