Missing Bayonets on Old Weapons

After the update that added bayonets for most weapons. Weapons I already owned that can use bayonets do not have them. I would have to spend a silver order, transfer the bayonet and then sell the now-useless weapon. Please fix or just make bayonets free to equip/remove.

It’s so unbelievable annoying to look at misplaced bayonets, especially on premium squads.

Agree thought I think you mean Bronze. It is annoying that I have so many soldiers with no bayonets due to playing for a long time.

What does that have to do with it? They are still usefull and only long time players have stacks of soldiers without them. Make it cheap to reconcile. Most people aren’t likely hung up on the positioning.

apparently there was an event that allowed you to buy them when they were first retroactively introduced. No idea why they kept it as an event (damn FOMO like it is the case with a lot of shit in this game?), but yeah, I would really love to get bayonets for my Moscow German rifles.

Free would be nice because now people only don’t have them because they were introduced late. Having said that…no way if they charge for it it’ll be 5 of something for 1 copper order. I’d brace for 1 bayonet for 1 silver order. Damage dealing items in the item section are at least 1 silver order. Non damage items, copper.

Bayonets themselves are useless, you need a gun anyway.

They are actually very useful imo. Pretty much insta kill anyone with decent range, not counting the ability to bayonet charge, instead of awkwardly waving your elbow in the 5 cm of air infront of you hoping you kill someone.

If you have a bayonet on your rifle, you shouldn’t need to have a knife on your soldier.

There is a trick - since all the weapons use the same bayonet, on the same faction/campaign - you can take the bayonet off of existing weapon and put it on your desired weapon.
