BTW, I am not confident to buy such long plan for a virtual software for possible more discounts in the future or this service/plan has stopped or derailed.
you already have 268 days of premium. i would recommend just saving your money. war thunder usually has a big premium sale around chritmas/new years time. if they do the same it might be more than just 30%
(there is also no guarantee you will play for another 2 years)
For me one year is more than enough. After that it all depends on progress of this game.
Thats where I am at, but this post definitely hits the nail on the head, I really don’t need the extra slots, my favorite part has certainly been the faster academy and I have been very curious what they will do to add in the new system into premium?

I’d say there was no reason to buy one in the first place. It only lifts a bunch of artificially created inconveniences. I’m sure they’ll find ways to inconvenience players some more even without academy training to make that premium “worth it”. Meanwhile the base game is still deeply flawed.
Not only faster academy… but 100 bonus soldiers in reserve! That’s a substantial bonus when wanting to upgrade stars. I wonder what those bonus related to academy/soldier lvl up will be replaced with. Because they either need to add a different bonus, or lower premium price. Actually scratch that, I also bough 1 year 1 or 2 months back, for those bonus… they need to compensate customers if they remove value from what they sell.
I’m not sure a compensation is due in this particular case; but if so, it should be aimed to keep a comparable advantage in soldiers training.

Lower cost of upgrades?
Probably lower cost to upgrade soldiers and or weapons.
The extra slot, 100% xp and more soldiers in the reserve were more than enough reasons for me to buy premium.
Currently have a year of premium, I ill probably get a other just incase that discount goes away.
That bonus will become irrelevant once academy is removed: no need to keep 45+ version of the same soldier to get it to 5 stars, we will only need one…
probably but … who knows…
Either way, like many of us I already bough a year (before the discount, damnt it!!!). A year is long enough for such discount to appear again, I’ll wait till Christmas and see
