In the current game iteration the game rolls for each soldier how his equiptment (helmet or hat, additional stuff on the helmet, gloves, etc.) will be. It is possible for the user to “individualize” his squadmates by dragging him out of the squad, putting someone new in and then replacing both again to force a “re-roll”. Yet it is very tiresome to use this system if you want to achieve a certain look for your squad.
E.g. I want for this squad no bags in front of the jacket, no nets on their helmets and dust glasses on the helmet of the leader.
As a quality of life improvement enlisted could make this existing variety system much simpler by allowing in the individual soldier menu to simply clicking through the various variables for each body part.

Was going to start a topic asking this. We should be able to customize each soldier. Also do the soldier show ammo pack and back packs when you equip them?

This is something I think a lot of us want, and the ability to change the Camo Options too. I.e. I would prefer to say have all of them equipped to look like a Fallschirmjager unit vs what I have now.
It will probably happen, but not until this game is ‘officially’ out of Beta (IMO). I could be wrong though.
well, customization isn’t really a priority now for obv reasons.
yes, and no. they do. but not for the americans ( even there, sometimes don’t have any equipment as well ) as some of them already have pouches and others backpacks.
weather the germans are strictly stripped from the get go and pouches/backpaks only appears if you equip them with.
The variety is already there and currently the devs are reworking a lot of the squad mechanics in the menu. I understand it’s not a priority but personally I would prefer a feature like this over the feature being able to dig any day.
Today I bought my first premium squad and sadly noticed that you cannot drag these soldiers out of their squad. Therefor you have no possibility to at least use that trick to change their appearance. On top of that almost all my new premium squad members look like crips contrary to the ones on the squad picture…
The option for easy individualization would therefor be most welcome here as well.
