I just tried DX12 for the first time. Noticed sluggishness in the menu.
As soon a game started the game froze up and I had to kill it via taks manager. Set it back to auto.
RTX4080, 32G DDR5, 500Gb Nvme, 12th Gen i7.
your computer is too weak for dx12. you should get a new one.
Delete enlisbed config blk and try again

Did it work for you in the end? I get the same issue. I have similar setup only using AMD 7900XTX instead
