i’m honestly not sure. i was chasing this guy, he was shooting out of the window, and i managed to shoot his feets. once he was downed, i charged this guy while he was trying to revive him self, and somehow, out of nowhere, he managed to pull out Cod stuff like, leaving down a grenade on death. is that actually possible? or am i missing something.
Thats a new feature, you have option to drop your grenade when downed, they added it last week iirc.

You can pretty much alahu akbar more than before. 
It was present for a long time before. Last week they only added an option to cook that grenade.

idk about the update last week but player always able to drop grenade when down as far as i remember by pressing g. Apparently not many people know about this?
Well I would better like shooting pistols abilities than that but. i still like that i think
on a second though, explain me how you can pull a trigger or even grab & chuck a grenade if you are already using your hands to patch your self up?
Maybe changing the down mechanics will do.
Kinda like removing the timer, and make abilities for them to shoot pistols or drop grenades, or to suicide I think.
Well for now, both dropping grenades or shooting guns dosent makes any sense suppose

I’m doing this (dropping explosive pack, only thing I use) when downed since like… over 2 months.
When I get in downed state close to enemies or I know somebody (who shot me) will try to finish me and I’m unable to use medkit in time, then I drop it under my feet, sometimes killing 3-4 enemy soldiers.
Well it’s easy, when using medkit (in downed state) you are still able to move and that interrupts your patching up, so while you are moving (on your knees) just press the key for your grenade / explosive pack (this is how I accidentally discovered it myself).
I haven’t tried to “cook it” yet, so there is still a chance enemy will see grenade indicator near you and will hide from it.
