The suggestion is simple; to have 50% or 100% extra XP days for certain factions, campaigns etc depending on certain key historical anniversaries and things.
For instance, on the 6th June you could have Normandy getting XP bonuses.
On VE Day, Battle of Berlin.
2nd September [Jap Surrender], US in the Pacific campaign.
7th December [Pearl Harbor], Japanese in the Pacific campaign.
Things like that.
By doing this for recognition of anniversaries, you then don’t have to worry about doing so many awful events no one plays.
It wouldn’t be a single boost; it’d be either a 24-hour continuous thing or possibly 12 hour.
Personally I say just 12 hours if possible, because 24 hours is indeed quite a long time to get continuous bonus XP.
Of course then they’d have to come up with a limited time slot it’s active based around a single timezone, but they do that with event matches anyway so it’d be nothing new.
And yeah that is annoying with the boosts. Part of the reason I decided to suggest a day or half-day’s worth of continuous boost, to help mitigate the annoyance of awful matches ruining your boost.
I think that rather, it should be that every two weekends in the month they put rain of experience, and all the games would receive double the experience
