Does this game support using a joystick or flightstick? I have a Logitech extreme 3d pro that I was very excited to use but I can’t seem to figure out a way.

I have an extreme 3D pro too. But haven’t found a way to make it work fully well. IIRC mods have already said that flight sticks are not supported yet.

no, as @JagdEnte said once, ( that unfortunally i couldn’t find ) aside from console controllers, flightstick are not supported as you are mainly supposed to be in the infantry role, not planes.
( which eventually, despite how good you can be, you can run out of fuel )

Not completely true: I own a Thrustmaster Warthog and could map fluight controls to the stick - but then haven’t been able to map throttle to throttle controller of the Warthog…
So now my throttle is on the mousehweel, which means that when I touch the mouse, the view is starting to follow the mouse (which is NOT what you want when flying…), and cannot be automatically centered anymore, afaik.
So, no, for me atm flying in Enlisted is a no go… = (

If you are using a Joystick like Logitec Extr 3d Pro… turn off the “pointer control” and the “look around” button for the ‘gamepad/joystick’ column… then your POV will follow the nose of the airplane… 
Turn off the ‘look around’ and ‘pointer control’ on your gamepad/joystick column… then you should be able to use the mouse-wheel as a throttle easily.
yeah when i found this game i was totally stoked i love the inf combat and the tank controls… well they leave a little to be desired but when i tried to use my t.flight hotas x when i got my p-38 i was totally bummed i try to bind my main trigger to fire and it says i binded the left bumper or some crap like that and the axis inputs are a complete NIGHTMARE i mean comeon devs if you put in a really nice looking model of a plane and make it run nicely its completely UNACCEPTABLE to not have joystick support no matter how much or little your suppost to use the plane in the grand scheme of things PERIOD!!!

So mainly infantyry role.Why are there aircraft then. If there are aircraft they should be fully supported.

i have no idea if in 6 months those are still a thing or not.
i highly doubt, but just like in war thunder, you can fly a plane with a controller / gamepads.
( although, if you are on pc, controllers are subject to conflict with controlls such as stucking the view always looking at the ground, or sky )
I one hundred percent agree with you, this game is excellent but the keyboard and mouse to control aircraft is as you said (UNACCEPTABLE) and is SO backward.

It seems like it would be pretty standard protocol to include support for a game that is more sim than arcade. If you feel the need to include things like prop feathering and mixture as optional controls then i would assume you are expecting at least some serious couch pilots to be playing this game. With some of the premium planes costing up to $50 bucks it would be so awesome if we could use our really cool flight sticks to operate these great warbirds you’ve beautifully recreated for us to rain hell down on our enemy.
Thanks for such a great game with continuing updates. Looking forward to the one that icludes flightsticks for all of us couch potatoes, opps i mean pilo
