Does Japan‘s 800kg better than 500kg and 1000lb?

I tried it out and found that even though it has over 100 kilograms of TNT more than other country ’bombs, it doesn’t have any noticeable features when used. It’s even worse than two 1000 lb bombs in terms of destroying tanks and killing personnel

Even compared to the 500kg bombs in the same camp, there is no obvious enhancement, and even the hole they explode from are the same size

unless you are datamining, you wont find much from comparing blast waves. most of us wont know its effectiveness until this table is updated by @Euthymia07

In warthunder theres a vehicle kill area distance stat.

I dont know how that translates into enlisted, but i remember the 800kg bomb isnt that amazing…about an extra 3m radius

by just looking at the masive crater it leaves when it makes boom (that also is a very good plce to hide bots) u cant deny that this plane have a pocket nuke

ummm i expected it to be way bigger… when i used it and compared to a 500kg bomb from germany and URRS the difference was more huge

but this is literally smaller than what i remember…

Hmm I just bombed a Meteor with the 800 kg.
Not uncommon to bomb a plane but he seemed pretty far from the blast.

Kikka drops the big bomb, Meteor coming in from my left, he flies over my bomb

He took some bad damage at this distance, he crashed seconds later.

well killing planes with bombs is kinda old stuff.

although i find someone killing a plane with mortar as best/most random kill ever.

Please dont remind me of that shame.
