Does DF Hate console players?

my main gripes with the whole thing is the stuff exclusive to PC, most notably discounts on stuff on the stores (outside of the client) and the test serves. the discounts thing is understandably hard to work around since sony and microsoft have their rules, but as for the test server, that seems really easy to give to console, just releasing a separate version on the stores that is the test server (this has been done with quite a few games, so it is possible).

There is definitely a little bit of a stigma and stereotype by some PC players against console. Not on the part of Dark Flow themselves of course, but in terms of some of its community, though I do mostly find it to be a very vocal minority and not the majority most of the time.

As in my own experience I’d say there’s a very equal amount of not so skilled players on both PC and console and I myself have had no issues the vast majority of the time being in the top 3 players no matter if it’s console or PC dominant lobbies.

The one thing that is unfortunate though is how a decent portion of sales that are announced only apply directly to PC 1:1 as PlayStation and Xbox have their own sales dictated by the companies they’re managed under.

One example to speak from in how that affected me was how the Ka-Chi squad was leaving and was 50% off on PC, but there was no such sale on PlayStation. ( I still got them since I main Japan and I’m a sucker for FOMO).

100 percent agree with you. I asked a few days ago how do i access the test server as i didn’t know they were for PC only and everyone laughed at me. Its not super hard to add something like that to console and the doscounts and all isnt fair either

Small tech tree is usually an benefit since you can get the good stuff faster. Biggest problem with japan is the horrible br placement of certain items. All planes and most tanks are overtiered and type 4 is still br 4 even if hino komuro is coming to br 3. Also the narrow selection of maps and lack of event items makes you easily burnt out when grinding them

An obvious joke.

Wasnt obvious to me. Very wild take

What’s very wild to me is how seriously you take it, but whatever. That’s your battle.

Read the helper answer is everything on hand of Microsoft and sony

Not taking it serious at all lol just keep your smart comment’s to yourself more like. Costs nothing to be nice at the end of the day :relieved:

Ok thank you

Well, everything that requires precise quick aiming puts a consol player into a disadvantage, however I dare to say that there are quite some things one can do in Enlisted that dont require a Mouse or Keyboard to be effective.

Flamethrowers dont require aim what so ever, building Rallies and getting APCs to the front is also in no way harder to do for consol players and also very important.
Flying a plane shouldn’t really be more difficult for consol players, though the mouse input can be quite precise for air to air combat.
Oh and lastly high dispersion, low accuracy SMGs are 100% as effective on PC as they are on consol - which are pretty much the best weapon class in the game.

Just avoid bolt actions and low capacity semi autos and every consol player will beat 90% of PC players IF he knows what he’s doing.

Ahh yes i get what you mean. I just mean Lack of custom games mode No Test Server, Cheaper discounts on PC, Allies & USSR receive alot more than Axis factions and whatever else. I have cross play settings turned on and i usually carry the team on my back ive a good win rate KD is decent so im sweet that way.

Hm, well custom game are just for the fun of it, most players don’t bother with them, its kinda how PC games gave easier access to mods and such, so I dont really know what can be done about that, but what does faction bias have to do with consol play?

The faction bias has nothing to do with console thats more generally speaking. See i wanted to play a custom game with all aircrafts (without been told to play war thunder) a mate said a PC player can do that. I didnt like the fact a console player couldnt.

Df does not hate console players.

Pc players do. because most of said console players don’t really stand much of a chance against even the “worst” pc player. there are very few exceptions, but that does not defie the rule so to speak.

which, console players can turn off crossplay, but pc players cannot.
personally, i don’t care. as long there are enough people for a lobby, that’s fine by me.
and i’d argue crossplay should not be turned off / on outside perhaps customs.
but i digress.

Edit.
( DF somewhat ““hates”” console players when it comes to customs modded. since console players are unable to host mods unless were featured in a mods digest… )

Additional Edit.
resulting to muting people already are we?
i’m not sure what would be the point of joining a forum if you are going to mute people to whom you may disagree with. but i suppose none of my business.

I really could argue about PC players being better than console players. Every player is unique some are crap  point being a PC player could cook a console player but it works visa versa console players can also cook PC players. I belive its fair game in the sense of just who is more skilled. Your point does make alot of sense. The mods cant be implemented on console due to the console capabilities? Well thats what i got from what you said and this is true.

So will consoles never be able to use mods? Or make a custom match as flexible as a PC out of curiosity…

Edit; only mute the people who have my posts closed down cos they dont like my suggestion. In fairness I dont do that to people. Why do it to me
