The grind is so intense that i find myself gravitating towards a single faction of a single campaign. I want to unlock all these cool things like the higher ranked planes and flameproopers because theyre fun, and when i do unlock them theyre not even available to me on other campaigns (such as the germans between moscow and normandy). This has lead me to sticking to a single faction of a single campaign and just grinding it and maybe playing a round or two of the other campain every now and then.
In Grind Thunder you have the same. Just normal f2p game 
the grind is fine it just feels awkward having to re grind the same faction if i want to play on a new map. Like if i was playing COD and had to unlock the attachments for every gun on each map if i wanted to use them
There is a difference between “map” and “campaign”. Grind shared between campaigns would not work because:
-same weapons are unlocked on The different levels in each campaign (for example Mp40 is unlocked much faster in Normandy than in Moscow). That would lead to big balance
-the campaigns are (unless we get Italy in Tunisia) always made as Germany vs Allies (Soviets/US/probably Brits in Tunisia) so that way only Germans (and Soviets but in lesser degree) would profit from such mechanic

Yes and normally only one faction. I play the americans the most and only german on Moscow. I feel like most campaigns are germaned out to include Berlin. How many times can we play Germany lol
That is kinda how it is, would be nice if the progression system was more complex and took players through many different battles so people would play more then just whatever faction they liked best in whatever battle they watched a history channel documentary on.
I have played and enjoyed all 4 factions today.
I will probably specialize in Germany / Normandy, as I want the FG42s.
Nah, the game give you tasks to play different ones, i wanted to played battle of moskva and i got task to play germany in normandy.

well, as i saw you that you are an CBT, it means that you still have the premium time, right?
if yes, i highly suggest you to take advantage of that, and play your favorite nations per alternate day, as we still have 12 days.
so that if you have more than 1 wanted faction, at the end of your premium, you will be somewhat " foward " insthead of maxing out 1 campaign and than restart from 0 with the other.
not to mention, accademy bonuses and +1 infantry and +1 vehicle squad to bring in the battle.
( not a particular huge fan of it, but it’s helpfull for those 13 days ).
