Do you use to whatch replays to play better?

Sometimes I see the replay, it’s cool to see different guns and functions. Sometimes I couldn’t even see what they were shooting (and hitting), so I imagine that their display is very large and with high resolution, since I use to consult a good ophtalmologist

Do you use to see the replays for some reason?

No i pretty much flop my cock on people anyway if we lose there is literally nothing else i could have done differently to improve the outcome.

replays just suck. without rewind function they are useless for anything. not to mention bugs that come with it.

No.

During the time I’d watch a replay, I play another match instead. Practice makes perfect.

To get better? No

When i get on a massive high from an awesome game. I like to watch it to drag out the high, and take pretty screenshots. Its funny to watch yourself and how many times you were so lucky a stray bullet just missed your face.

The game has epic moments you wouldnt realise without watching in 3rd person spectator!

No, I never watched a single replay.

No rewind, no replay.

Sometimes I watch replays to see from the enemy’s perspective of getting slaughtered by me to the point that I even have some D-Day replays. Had a couple of replays of me rolling with tanks, DShK or just want to see my PPSh squads in action on a different angle. Used to have a replay where I shot down a stuka with DShK too back in one of the old versions.

Its real satisfying to see the destruction caused by the 85mm and 122mm on the enemy’s perspective through replays where I could see what’s going on there up close whether its groups of infantry or enemy tanks exploding.

Play better? Not really its just at times I want to see what some enemy players personally target me like why one has to kamikaze or have some AT soldiers focus on me even when I’m behind my teammates.

I do watch replays. I would watch more if we could rewind them. One day tho… One day…

I have noticed, that the more I play, the worst I m

I actually do watch replays, for various reasons.
Recording gameplay and bugs, see my own game from the enemas perspective (like Tovarish).

if I become a better player?

Ya, probably. For instance, I know where the enemies tend to go (bots) and where I should strafe/bomb hehe.
I also learned more about my bots. When they fck up more than ordinary.

rewind is a must.

Do you/anyone know if WT have a replay function?

nope, war thunder doesn’t either. Enlisted inherited that unfortunate characteristic.

Nope.

They took almost 10 years just to add fixed intermediate points to restart from, rather than restarting all.

For those unaware, the reason why there’s no rewind is because replays in these games aren’t technically recordings.

The game saves the server log (list of all inputs received by the server and their relative effects, in chronological order) and uses it as a script. When you launch a replay, it’s basically a new match in view only mode that follows the given script.

Think of it like bots being theatre actors. They can perfectly recreate the script, but they can’t act backwards.

That’s also the reason why every update to a new version trashes old replays.

Ah, midlife crisis… Some buy a sport car, some sign in to gym… And others enter a self-destructive spiral, like playing Gaijin games…

Can we already go back in replays? Before once you missed the scene, you had to restart the replay…

I’m not sure, I rarely use the feature

I hope so, if not it seems troublesome…

sometimes i watch replays to see how top players managed to perform so well, sadly though, most of the times they’re full auto prem squads hip firing around which prefectly reflect what this game is catering towards
