Do you think the Soviet smoke bombs suck?

Lately I’ve been carrying smoke grenades on my commandos.
But I found that the Soviet smoke bombs were very impractical.
Not only does it produce less smoke, but it also emits smoke more slowly.
Although these are personal feelings.

Imo, all smoke grenades are impractical, they don’t really emit a lot of smoke anyway, and it is almost always better to use frag grenade or explosive pack instead. Smoke from mortar and smoke artillery barrage are nice however, but rarely ever used as they are quite gimmicky

All smoke grenades are bad

Yes, and all smoke shells are good.

You don’t really feel impact from it when you use it.
And also with artillery(at least you see and can use this smoke for yourself). They should add some kind of reward for using it. Like for building.

Sometimes smoke is still very useful, such as the Stalingrad train station, where the German army needed to face a bunker-like building.
And D-Day.
and Berlin’s bridges.
Smoke grenade bombardment can effectively cover the attack.
But for this purpose, a special team of messengers is needed. If there are smoke bombs that are convenient to use, a position can be made available.
