Do we get the points when kicked from battle due connection error?

Hi, do you guy know whether we get the points, when the game loses connection or not. I had today my second disconnect, that sounds not that much, but both were at the very intense end of an invasion. And thus really infuriating. So I wondered, if they let us at least take the points in such a case.

if you leave or get disconnected before the match end, and do not rejoin, there’s a penalty.

where you only get 30/35% of the final reward for the points that you made.

Can we actually rejoin? This is new for me.

yeah, as soon you disconnect, a pop up appears and ask you if you want to re-join.
(and send you back from the last point you were if your squad is still alive, unless it has been wiped out)

but sometimes it doesn’t. because might disconnect you entirely from the launcher.

so yeah, unfortunately, this game does not favor people with bad connection in all situations.
i just hope PVE it’s going to be a thing for those people as well.
but we’ll have to see.

Ah ok, thank you. I got unfortuneatly no pop up. :frowning:

But the disconnects were also very strange, they were without any sign. The game just started lagging extremely and in like 5 sec I was disconnected. Ususal connection issues come also normally with several minor laggs. But that was not the case.

Any PVE mode is most likely going to be still hosted on the server, so no real difference in this case. Connection issues would still be a thing.

nope,

war thunder has a section of local PVE matches that gives you xp if you finish them. despite having good or bad internet.

The historical mission?

historical missions, dynamic campaigns and normal skyrmish.

although, they don’t give much xp with it’s not very logical, and the reason why are not so famous.

than, a few months ago, there were missions of coop in beta.

Oh i need to try them now thanks for the tips

Iirc War Thunder “single player missions” are basically a vestigial mode, added in the early stages of the game but soon neglected. I think the main reason they’re still there is just because the pacific campaign is for sale in the store and on Steam.

And yes, they pay very little in terms of rewards. Iirc, single missions even pay off only ONCE, the first time you beat them in a specific difficulty setting.

it’s such a pity, because just like the upcoming battlefield, even PVE or single player missions should give you the same ammount of xp that you get.

after all you are playing the title, spending time, and just like the others, you can still buy and use the battlepass as well. perhaps, if you make like, 300 kills against bots, make it earn like only 98 or 70 were made like in multiplayer. so that you can still earn something.

and above all, let everyone enjoy the game as they can.

Yeah, but I guess that from a business perspective, if you play online PVP you become “game content” for other players, thus providing some value back to the company even if you are a non paying user.
If you play local single player, instead, your playtime isn’t contributing to the game. Even worse, 20% users (hypothetical value) enjoying single player would mean 20% LESS users available for PVP matchmaking.

well, they can still buy premium squads, premium accont, bp, upcoming cosmetic options so…

it’s not like that they cannot earn from those people that mainly plays pve.
