What’s their point anyway when you can just hold until you unlock sturmgewehr?
The meaning behind this is similar to Bren mk1 and Bren mk2 situation.

I use that Engie event squad from a few months ago and I love using the Mkb (h) with them. I realize this is a bit different as those two are the next in line but not gonna lie I love the Mkb.
I actually prefer the Vickers-B over both the Bren’s when playing BR2 Allie’s (sometimes I will bring a Besal instead) but otherwise the Vickers I find to be better suited for me.
Man i get it if its the question of MKb vs StG as those weapons offer a very different experience, but MP43 vs StG???

It’s the same thing with the Tiger H1. It’s the first Tiger so its cool from a historical standpoint. I don’t have a problem with copious content in fact I welcome it

Mp43/1 is really just a slightly weaker StG44, the most obvious difference is the fire rate which is a little bit slower, but also has more dispersion and recoil.
If STG44 and MP43 had the exact same stats - only a even slower rate of fire - I can see people using the MP43 as an easier to controll AND historically more accurate alternative.
MKB however should be a BR4 gun - and receive a bit of an accuracy nerf, because it was an open bolt gun - which are inherently less accurate than close bolt guns.
Also the gold order and event STGs need to get buffs because they are absolutely worse than their TT counterparts.

Well sniper MKB has the same rate of fire of 650 rpm as STG44, I personally wish it wouldn’t be the same as … but I guess it is what it is?

I dont like that people keep saying horn and STG45 should be BR4*, those rifles came after STG44 and should be BR5 - they just need buffs.

Yes exactly my point. Let me do a ridiculous example, imagine G43 k would suck really hard, it would be the same logic as if we would say that G43K should move to BR3 because it would be as bad as G41, even tho G43 exists in BR4 - people look at performance and think about BR placements instead of realising we can still buff and nerf weapons
It would “thematically” fit much more to have MKB42h, MKB42w and sniper MKB sit in BR4 - and adjust them accordingly so that they fit into BR4,
while leaving the late war guns in BR5 and adjusting them aswell.
BRs doesn’t reflect year of development. Otherwise we wouldn’t have Volksturm weapons at BR2.
Well it does tho in a broad sense, Volkssturm weapons are just a compromise and exception.
HOWEVER - now that you say it, again, those weapons could easily get buffed and be moved up their BRs.
The biggest weakness the semi auto VG has is its super poor rate of fire, if increased to like 350 or even 400 it can be a super strong gun for BR4, in the hands of single fire spammers like myself I would wreck with gun.
No, they’re not exception. All that matters is performance.
And both STG45 and Horn shouldn’t perform better than STG44. They definitely do belong to BR4.
That’s what I have suggested before current BRs were implemented. Basically nobody liked the idea.
