Vg1-5 is better than the fg42II if is used by people outiside the assaulter
Honestly, for those who decide to stay and keep playing after the recent changes, It’s even more scary to invest time in this. What can they do next? MG nerf is obvious and will happen soon. Automatics limitations per squad is also expected, just look at the amount of people supporting it. So even if game is still somewhat playable now, upcoming changes in favour of Red Orchestra fans and others are disturbing.
I just had a random idea
What if defenders had point-related tickets?
Imagine, while attackers start with 1000 points + reinforcements, defenders get (example) 300 points per cap.
If defenders take too many casualties and get drained to 0, they can no longer respawn at the current objective and must either wait for the current point to fall, or spawn at a much farther position way behind the front.
If defenders are left with 0 tickets and noone is defending the cap, a timer should start and the point should be automatically count as captured after 1 min at most (to prevent useless waiting).
Every time a cap point falls, defenders get their tickets back up to the initial (300) but no higher.
This way, IF WELL BALANCED BY NUMBERS, on one hand there may be more incentive to camp and play by attrition, but on the other hand 1) attrition war would work both ways, and 2) attackers would still have some incentive to rush and cap quickly, to save tickets.
I dont know where the game is going. But at least i dont love the ways they implement unexamined changes. so i am back to forum.
It is going where the majority of ENG active community wants it to go. Even us on the RU forums are completely ignored. Basically look at the Quadro and his fans. Next step will be introducing the auto rifleman class, limiting SF rifles 1-2 per squad, I can bet my money on this.
interesting.
Will make a separate suggestion about that.
The most important reason that why so many newcomers are leaving the game is never about fullauto spam. I’m just surprised that so many still haven’t understood it til now. I can observe that, in Normandy Axis, Moscow allies and Tunisia allies there are always tons of newcomers, why? It’s because they have tons of high-level players playing together with them, they have normal playerbase.
Only in those factions who doesn’t have a normal playerbase, newcomers dessert quite often, because their opposite team are full with high-level players. @1942786 Please devs should play the game themselves and find why newcomers dessert the game. 99% is because your own side doesn’t have a high-level player but the other side has, not because the other side is 2 OP. Even if you buff the BA to 50000 damage and nerf all fullautos to 1.7 dispersion wouldn’t change that. There are many reasons for it, but the biggest reason is the campaign system itself, enlisted has such a small playerbase which couldn’t afford 5 campaigns, make many, if not all campaigns a one-sided stomp.
In many cases if your side is completely and desperately outnumbered, even if you have maxed out you would still desert and stop playing that faction, let alone new playes. I myself have stopped playing Stalingrad Axis for months because of that.
This ruined my night. I hope they fixed their matchmaking system, I am now getting more unfair games and it ruins my experience.
there is literally no matchmaking system
Its a matchfinder that is used. Also keep in mind that becoming a Marshal is easy as one just needs to play. Literally nothing else, bots can even be marshals.
i thought you would get more from all those exploits, kinda meh tbh
