Do not improve graphics

Do not waste resources on improving graphics
no one asked for it and no one expect for triple A class graphic
A game with good graphic may be a good game, but not all good game have good graphics

This is game from 21 years ago yet I still play this game because this game is fun to play and its songs are fantastic

Graphic isn’t the only thing that make a game good

Enlisted still lacks sound (e.g. ye pe ka yeah~), motions, gameplay etc

So stop wasting your precious almost non-existing resources on useless graphics

It’s easier to upgrade graphics than gameplay. So they picked easy route.

dont worry… no resources were wasted… this all happened cause dagor engine developed by gaijin got support for ray tracing and not cause enlisted devs wanted ray tracing in the game…

Yeah city skylines 1 I play, it is a good little game, only recently unlocked all the buildings like fusion and that hadron. So kool xxx

Never really played Sim City but that style of graphics made me think of one of my childhood games called Hotel Giant.

Its basically the Sims but on bigger, hotel scale with guests coming and leaving.
The early 2000s vibes are there too
(Got a huge discount now btw for anyone interested, costs nothing)

This reminds me of Sims 2, I used to play that a LOT during my childhood, what I did was pick a completely empty map and build my custom city house by house, designing every single park, shop and bedroom personally.
Than I designed every single person, making sure everyone is unique by both name and apperance.
All of my residents were white adults with degree and nice job plus their children, except for only one Japanese family living in a very stereotypical Japanese life…

So yeah… I played God and built a society that basically blended the 50’s American dream with Stalinism all at the ripe age of 10.

Oh and getting a degree was very time consuming in Sims 2, it took like 10-15 hours of gameplay so I managed 9 sims (the maximum I was allowed :smiling_face_with_tear: ) at a time for efficency.
A household always had a husband and wife both working and naturally both of them had to have a degree (how feminist of me) and I had around 50 households so a major portion of my life disappeared in this game.

Ahh yes, that sounds really good. I never really played Sims besides the PS2 “Castaway” survival tropical island one and an old brick phone “Java mobile” Sims 3 about travelling to different countries (very well made game for its time, felt like premium quality) But once the Sims 1 and Sims 2 on steam will be on sale I will definitely get my hands on it
Early 2000s aesthetics is something I wish to discover some more, world was very different back then

Yes, no one asked for it. But that doesn’t mean no one wanted it.

In fact, most casuals value graphics over gameplay.

And this game is full of casuals. In fact, they’re its target audience.
