All this does is make it so they can’t charge nobody really cares about these and the unique melees quite literally are only a hinderance to the moroccan, san marco and silenced sten squad and now this.

Better yet, give them all british cavalry swords along with the germans! But what the player base would actually like or want is most likely off the table here.
Yeah, I am not much of a fun of non replaceable knives as well.
The unequipable knives might soon revive a improvement if the Devs decided to act upon my suggestion which was allegedly forwarded, seen here:
Just give them +50% sprint boost with no charge. And for German premium squad give them free 5x swords.
i don’t understand why you can’t charge with knives either.
knives don’t actually one hit-kill people with just one stab unlike bayonets or axes.
( you can test that in big action from tommy, or my own ardenne frenetic frenzy maps )
so i think that’s balanced.

I would very much like this… i actually prefer the NKVD knives as you don’t get increased stamina drain and they are very effective with run speed.
An these things are truly useful at 5 where gameplay is already fast… i do not see why people think this is so bad.
These guys should be moving on the move… in the greyzone and such it’s not a very good position often and you’re very vulnerable while running with it.
I suggested once somewhere that they all have the 150 boost but apparently that’s too cod like when these are just gimmicks in reality, why not make the gimmick useful.
