Thank you for answering my question and clarifying about this. “Boy scouts” in general are not related to the military in most of the countries I know. It’s some kind of group of children that learn things about nature, how to camp, make a fire and stuff like that.
WTF is this?
Also it’s more of just a show.
Even Chinese school’s mandatory military training is just a joke. Few Chinese saw or heard any kinds of weapon firing in their entire life. Let alone touching real weapons.
And are chinese boy scouts really geared like this?
Don’t you feel cramped or restricted in any way by the social credit system? Imho it restricts the freedom of choice / thinking in some way.
I’m sure that the common chinese is as trustworthy as any civilian around the world. I’m sure I would feel very secure in china as long as I don’t act or talk against the government.
There was a time western people felt safe even when publicly criticizing the people from within the government and their actions.
But the governments are getting more and more restrictive around the world. To take critics into custody is trending around the world.
